Looks like notification center will be on the next update.

Sounds good to me. As long as there's a notification + Live Tiles, it's an instant win for WP. You get more for doing less smile.gif

This is great! Swipe to the left pls.
Best case scenario is they give the update at the same time 920 is available in Malaysia.

Added on November 2, 2012, 9:32 amSo the verge is saying the only downsides of 920 is the size/weight and lack of apps.

And their sample photos are better than most samples I've seen so far.

This is the worst joke ever. Just because it is slightly heavier, it gets a 3 star.

Edit: Sorry, quoted wrong guy. Referring to PCMag review ... I think? LOL doesn't matter.

It's the Pocketlin. The Verge review is fair IMO.

Pocket lint review is stupid. Relegated to 3 stars just becaus of weight ALONE. My n93 was 180g and I had little problems then and now.
*
It's not the stars, but how the reviewer phrased it. The weight is a valid criticism but somehow it is enough to make the reviewer condemned the whole phone by stating "This is not a phone for you".

the only option available for me to get this beauty now is either through Expansys or Clove...why they never prioritise Malaysia for the first batch release, even India & Thailand are included...

I'm scared to buy online from overseas. Is it reliable? Problem is there won't be a local warranty.

CNET review took some pretty awfull photos using Lumia 920 and calls it over hyped camera. Photographer problem ? Other sites seem to produce better pics with 920.

Things to take note on their differences:

-8X should be the cheaper phone. 920 yet to announce the price here.
-8X is much lighter. You will notice the difference
-920 has bigger screen and the better screen.
-920 has a better camera
-8X has a built in amp so I assume it has better sound. 920 will have Dolby tech though.
-Nokia offers plenty of Nokia exclusive apps
-8X seems have matte paint while 920 seems to me shiny and fingerprint magnet
-Both phones will have Nokia drive but there is a rumor that some features will be Nokia exclusive

Those are the things are can think of now. Chose your phone based on the features that are priority to you.
