hey Your JRTs soo cute. Rusty is so so cutee.
I love how they lie down, just like my russell.
he like to run here and there, then he will lie down flat when he is tired.

Hahaha.. JRTs are quite active dogs. So, best to keep them preoccupied or else they'll be uncontrollable.

As for the licking... Hmmmm.. They're just cleaning themselves... laugh.gif

Hi all,

This is Max, 6 month JRT.
A very hyperactive, naughty and persistant puppy.
He can sprint faster and longer than me.
Lol.

Awwww... So cute!

My dogs are running circles around the garden. And my dog Rusty can really jump high fences. I think it's time for him to join an agility class. ;-)

I've got one female JRT very smart but damn naughty n playful. Likes to bite and pull my long pants whenever come back home with long jeans... while playing fetch with her, she fetches the ball, comes back to me and doesn't let go. She thinks its a game of tug-of-war. Very hyper

hye there JRT pros...gonna join this thread soon....getting my very own russell soon...brows.gif i'm getting from a breeder...the thing is that the pup is a female...at first i don't wanna let my pup do the neutering surgery...but the breeder say that it's ok and he say that the surgery even benefits the pup instead...(btw if wanna do the surgery how old is the best time for her to do the surgery?)
situation 2: i currently have a male shih tsu at home...very tame...the prob is my next door neighbour has 2 chow chow....male and female...both quite agressive and the can jump over the short wall separating my hse and my neighbour's hse...(yes they do jump over to my garden to poop)the female chow chow was getting very aggresive these few months -->killed my rabbit, killed many rats, scared my iguana to death, killed it's owner's hamster. how am i suppose to intro my pup to that chow chow???pls advice ....tq

Best time for females to be spayed is around 6 months. Check with your vet. ;-) It is good to spay your pet if you don't intend to have unwanted pups from her. Besides that, the operation has been known to reduce the occurrence of breast cancer in female dogs.

As for introduction of pups to the chow chow, it is best to be done in a neutral environment where neither dog (pup or chow chow) is dominant over. Perform the introduction as gently as possible. Watch for the dogs reaction if they intend to be aggressive over the dog.

Good luck. JRTs are known to be super active. I'm having a headache with my 10-month male pup who's undergoing "puberty" now. The female JRT is much more quieter. laugh.gif laugh.gif

Where you go?

Btw i thought of getting another JRT to accompany Max.
