hmmm wats the market price for one JRT now...?
the dog is cute, feel like getting one..  laugh.gif

You sure you want a terrierist?? hmm.gif hmm.gif

They are high-energy, spirited little spitfires.. You'll have a lot of fun with them if you have a good sense of humour and also lots of energy. Believe me, if you play catch with them a few times it is not enough. tongue.gif

esp when there's more than 1 of them trying to catch the ball you throw. rclxub.gif Dookie and Piper would be fighting over the ball instead of giving it back to me
*
Hahahahaa... They have found a playmate with each other... smile.gif

My Dad is against the idea of getting a 2nd JRT because Snoopy might get jealous. laugh.gif

Frankly, I don't mind another JRT because Snoopy sometimes look so sad. She craves for other doggy companions. But I can imagine how noisy my house will be esp when the "Tilam Tilam" man comes around. Both dogs may howl... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

doh.gif doh.gif Ya... My sis will get irritated by the barking and howling. Snoopy only learnt how to howl last year. Shocked us because she never howl ever since she left her puppy days. tongue.gif

Hey aragorn, cool avatar. Where r u at now?
*
Hey there... I'm currently working on assignment in UK. Quite cold and miserable here. Saw a number of JRTs, all look so good and well-behaved on leash! drool.gif

However, I'm quite unhappy at work here lately due to management screw-ups and so, am wishing I was back home now playing with my Snoopy. tongue.gif

Im getting a beagle to accompany shadow.. 2 JRT's are too much..  cry.gif JRT's really makes good companion.. no doubt about tat! Shadow's front right paw is hurt.. he dare was limping lightly.. hopefully he is ok.. my mom told me ran and hit 1 of the stereo speakers in the living room while playing fetch.. hope he is ok tomorow.. although hurt, still waana ran fast .. sigh~
*
Hahahaha... JRTs are great companions. I'm missing my JRT now. tongue.gif

Beagles are cool too! We nearly adopted a beagle but my mom didn't like the tail of the beagle - she said its too long. Anyway, good luck with searching for a nice beagle!

Hmmm.. Don't worry about Shadow's paw. JRTs are very versatile. They heal very quickly. biggrin.gif Snoopy hurt herself quite badly a few times (jumping and landing badly after taking off from our arms) and she recovers very quickly. icon_rolleyes.gif

I just got some shocking news from my dad via e-mail this morning.

Seems that my dog has acquired a taste for garden snails!!!!! shocking.gif

He caught her crunching away at it last night in the garden. It has been raining in KL, and she has been very notti lately by becoming a "saint". She refuse to eat her doggy biscuits and so, my parents are starving her.

Anyway, I think her survival instincts kicked in and she ate whatever she found. Lucky she didn't find a frog. sweat.gif

My Dad is monitoring her closely to see if she's ok. Lucky we live nearby the Animal Medical Centre in Subang and so, can just go over to check her out if she doesn't look good. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

Hahaha... Snoopy will chase frogs. nod.gif

My Dad saw her play with a frog first, by touching them with her paw and then chasing them. laugh.gif

my boy will chase legs..whenever i took him for a jog in the park...he would run and chase my leg for the 1st few mins...but after a while i just run with me....the other day my boy chase ( playfully ) a girl in front of me..luckily the lady didn't get the scare of her life...... hmm.gif

by the way, i let my boy unleash when we r jogging in the park...he's well behave most of the time....

hey, how did u guys train your furkid to howl?
*
HAHAAHHAA!!! That's cute! laugh.gif

My dog will bring her toy in her mouth up to my leg when she wants to play. If you're walking, she'll hit your leg with her toy... rclxub.gif

Never taught my dog to howl. Got other dogs in the neighbourhood to teach her. shocking.gif My neighbour's two dogs love to howl. I suspect that's how she learnt how to howl. hmm.gif

Snoopy hates flies, she will chase and bite it. rclxub.gif

Sometimes kesian, see the fly on the floor, buzzing around because was crippled by my dog. laugh.gif laugh.gif

My JRT Spike caught cockroach, frog and snail. He even once ate a frog which make me puzzled and worried about after effect. Was told by the Vet as long as there is no symptom of sickness, they will be fine.
Looking forward for any gathering.

Wow!! Yea, I know that in Aust, when your dog catches a frog or toad, you should be scared because in Aust, got cane toads which are poisonous. blink.gif

Snoopy has been known to kill cicak too. icon_idea.gif

if u really looking for a JRT, PM me. But can u tell us what is your understanding about JRT? Tell us a bit before we give u any number to contact. A lot of JRTs being dumped up because their owner never really understand the charater of a JRT. certainly all of us here would not want another JRT being put up for adoption.
Hey, yesterday me and boy wne t for jogging, and at the park, we play hide n seek...very very fun... i keep hiding and wisel at my boy then he come looking..very cute larr.....we play almost for 2 hours..back at home...Ty'rel become a dead dog..... thumbup.gif  drool.gif ...

oh yah...yesterday, Ty'rel tried to pick a fight with the cat in the neighbourhood, the cat run like crazy  shakehead.gif  sweat.gif
*
Agree with ya! I thought our family cannot cope with a JRT but it turned out that she exercised us instead. blink.gif

In the end, we're all a little bit healthier because Snoopy loves to play. She loves to run alot. biggrin.gif

Anyway, I miss playing with her. When she has a fantastic play session she'll sleep like a log for two days! thumbup.gif

My terror don't want to eat regularly. Even after several days of starving her, she runs away from the food when we give it to her. laugh.gif shakehead.gif

Would love to bro but bz with CNY stuff-le.. blink.gif

So, usually, if you have to travel, where you drop off your terrors? hmm.gif

I'm also thinking about such things too should I need to leave my terror at home alone, when my parents travel. So far, have been damn lucky to work in jobs where "work from home" is an option. icon_rolleyes.gif

Added on February 2, 2007, 12:52 amYo guys!!

Got a new problem.. Seems that my Snoopy has taken a liking to eating cat poop!!!!! cry.gif shocking.gif

Any idea on how to stop her from doing this?

We're currently monitoring her whenever she goes out and if we catch her, we'll wash her mouth and brush her teeth. blink.gif

Anyway, we will have to make sure the garden is free of cat poop but that is hard to manage coz of all the cats roaming around our area... blink.gif...
