Considering between 24" and 27" ips any bro got experience using 27"?

read in some forums that 27" is too big if you sit around 2-3 feet from your monitor, you will have to move your head around to see the whole screen?

sound function juz route it to ya speaker can dy for ps3.
on the side, why the heck 4k monitor/tv is so freaking expansive? (ok, i'm a poor fag)  rclxub.gif

gonna get myself an ARB unit of u2711h, calculating whether its worth the save anot  hmm.gif
i thought u2713hm is a matte screen, hence eliminated any gloss effect....no?
hmm, most result state its not glossy screen? personal view?

Yups. U2713HM screen coating is matte but my brother prefers those heavy coated matte type of screen like the ones on U2711.
U2713HM screen coating is called light coating/semi gloss coating. Hence, too "glossy" for him... sweat.gif

4k monitor. mmmm...mmmmm........ drool.gif
i don't think there are a lot of 4k monitors out there in the market now.

i think sitting 2 feet away from any 24"/27" monitors is way too near. anything from 3 - 5 feet away should be ok i think.
when i use my 29" screen i usually sit about 4 feet away.. cos u know.... its ultra wide biggrin.gif

"When Dell released the U2713HM users were impressed by the new lighter AG coating which is an almost semi-glossy type coating. This has been retained on the new U2713H as well thankfully. "

Safe to say they use the same AG coating on U2713H as well.

Does anyone know about this BenQ flicker-free GW2760HS monitor? It really effectively reduces eye fatigue caused by conventional monitors from prolonged computer use?icon_question.gif

Nope I doubt so, 1 inch don't make much difference, unless you're playing racing game and using cockpit view.

I upgraded from 24" to 27", 3" extra but only that little bit better..

not much compared to the U series monitors, same screen panel, size but lack the swivel and height adjust function

overall a good monitor if you know not to place it near bright light sources. the glossy screen may cause eyes to strain quicker
