Anybody have dealt with purchasing shipping monitors from overseas? How is it treated by customs, and what kind of tax figures will be incurred? I'm looking into getting the Asus PQ321 monitor. From where, that depends on where it is launched first.

Yea received it 11.45am. Did you get the same monitor? Mine they replaces it with s2440l LOL a bigger screen hahaha

ego3nity Yeah mine too. I even asked him to take it back, but he refuses. After checking both the Delivery Note & Service Event Request, there really stated S2440L. Guess my predictions are right, that S2340L might facing QC problem. I'm much relieved now that I'm not alone. I was afraid that they might come & take it back anytime soon. Btw, he already took my spoilt unit back. What about you? Although the screen is bigger, but I miss the S2340L slim bezel profile.

i asked the seller a week back.

better get it from cyntrix. 545 for 5 years warranty.

so basically 146 ringgit for additional 4 years warranty. worth it man.

i gave him mine too, yea, miss the slim bezel lol so how do u feel the monitor so far? since 2440l using VA and 2340l using IPS do u feel any diff? i m quite busy now so i havent on the monitor yet

ego3nity I still felt S2340L are better. I don't know how to say, I just felt IPS are better. Or it might be my thinking jeopardizing my judgement. Why not you let me know later?

yea, i also feel like 2340L is better the color reproduction is much much better, this one has the "mild" feeling on the screen lol

sigh. I just don't feel good with S2440L despite it's sizes. I was wondering is there any settings for me to tune it up.

you can use the cd driver in the box (Dell display manager) i used the Multimedia mode then adjust the brightness and contrast from there.
