got the dell s2440l, why? it's cheapest 24 inch 8-bit panel due to new AUO (ACER) AMVA LED Panel.

like i said, it all depend on where u put yr monitor, did u put curtain on at window, where is the indoor lamp located at? infront or behind the monitor.

becoz of the glass, some direct/indirect (any kind of) light source might cause reflection, i put the monitor at the corner of the room, at night, there's no problem even there is a lamp infront of the screen at right bevel angle, but at daytime, my windows is at around 40 degree of the back of my monitor, it still reflect.

the s2440l pic at google images search, most of them didnt put at direct light source but it still reflect.

i brought other item from him, it is slower by 1 day than other. i brought again this times, he mark it as shipped 2nd day with tracking number, still cant track it at 4th day today.

yea, same company, not sure is reseller or what.

my item (no lcd) from ebay seller arrived, have to go pos to pick up, they send the card via pos mail man motor, say there is too many item for delivery, not time for delivery each and every, there is a long queue at the local pos.

1 year warranty claim through that ebay seller.

my s2440l dont have such problem, not even once. where u get that monitor? from dell or that ebay seller? time for warranty.

hi, i purchase a dell u2312hm with 5 year warranty for my friends from a big online seller that also do wholesale and retail business, they courier the monitor with the whole box to me, the box didnt open before, the monitor itself is brand new and good, verify it with dell monitors factory menu, monitor uptime, the box has dell service tag sticker, but the dell order number sticker is removed, when i email the online seller, they claim it is removed becoz they also do wholesale business, those reseller purchase from them dont want to let their customer know where they get their stock from, it is a valid reason, but i purchase directly with them, without any reseller, and they also do retail, online seller business themself, they shouldnt remove the dell order number sticker at all of their dell monitor box in advance.

the problem right now is, dell default warranty for this price range of dell monitor is 3 year, for verify this one does came with/upgraded to 5 year warranty, would need the dell order number, cannot verify it with the dell service tag, dell will not honor 5 year warranty without dell order number, only default 3 year warranty would be provided, even if the dell monitor was came with/upgraded to 5 year warranty.

i do email the online seller, they said they would provide me the dell order number, by asking me the photo of the dell service tag sticker at the box, but it has been around 2 weeks since i last getting reply from them, their management.

i am waiting for their big company to fix this issue by giving me the dell order number instead of bad mouth about them everywhere, just trying to let ppl know the case and it isnt the correct standard of doing thing, i would let ppl know the name if this case isnt fixed even after very long wait.

just receiving an email from them last night tuesday 10: 23 PM after email enquiry to them again few hours before, was told /Sorry for delay , was busy last week . Already follow up with warehouse , will let you know by tomorrow/
but i dont receive any words today.

their company is quite big, i email their company email for purchase, was replied by one of their System Engineer, the dell order number warranty issue was forwarded to their Sales & Marketing Director, now i was told it would be the warehouse be able to get me the dell order number after long query with the Sales & Marketing Director.
