I bought Samsung P2370HD-1 23" monitor. Pleased with HD experience. Thanks to my friend who suggested me "try hire before buy". I was wondered to buy FX2490HD or P2370HD. So, hired FX2490HD from avdj, checked overall performance-setup but it wasn't too desirable. Eventually made my mind to buy P2370HD. I'd never bother to spend $50 on hire that suggests me to get the best one.

QUOTE(bijoumerchant @ Jun 19 2013, 12:12 AM) Thanks, Any bro can recommend good 27" ips that is a balance between price and quality (meaning nothing above 1.5k)? oops.. wonder at that kind of price can i get 2560 x 1440? QUOTE(yeahh @ Jun 26 2013, 03:59 PM) Look for the qnix 27inch monitor in ebay. Comes with PLS panels, which some say is as good as IPS. I do not have them. But i bought a crossover. 1 year on, everything is working fine. The price is pretty decent. However, do note that if kastam kacau, they can tax it, up to 30%. You can reduce at by 5% to a 25% tax by quoting the Korean - Malaysia free trade agreement. Remember to ask seller to post the actual price in the custom forms. |

Need advice for use use case here:
I need a nice monitor for programming with lots of terminals opened, lots of online reading, photo editing, etc. I am sensitive to screen brightness and color accuracy, so I'm only considering IPS or similar quality. and I think aspect ratio of 16:10 is better for my use? I am considering Apple thunderbolt 27, dell u27xx, u301x right now. Is it better to go with dual monitor or single large monitor? What do you recommend based my use case? Is there other monitors I should consider too? This post has been edited by klangboy83: Jul 2 2013, 04:15 PM |
