Gaming, movies, gaming, animes, gaming, and some photoshop..... did I mention gaming?

glossy screen is ok for you.
else, full time for working and edit in photoshop must get matte screen for sure.

i have tried changing the cable (vga-dvi) and still same result. dunno whether graphic card or monitor problem
*
simple, do monitor selftest.
just remove all vga,dvi or hdmi cable out from your monitor, then see the monitor messaging and the RGB color display. if ok then continue troubleshoot your cable and graphics card.

After reading and searching much information on U2713H vs U2713HM, i think it is the best to go for U2713HM as it is mainly use for gaming, hence does not need the extra bit/color from U2713H, correct me if i'm wrong.

Initially thinking about U2913WM due to its super wide wow effects, but after think twice, seems like there is no gain on height sad.gif

hey there, I faced the exact same problem like urs. I couldn't found my service tag number, thus I couldn't reach Dell Call Center. What about you?

I did called the number, but didn't get through because I don't have the service tag code. I've chatted with the online support, they say they're unable to help unless we have the service tag, and asking me to return to the retailer instead. Such a bad experience. What about you? You bought from Dell directly?

No, i bought from a shop.
After u dial the number press 2 then it will ask for 1 and 2 option just ignore it and wait then it will direct you to a OP. Talk to that OP of your issue and you want claim warranty the OP will ask any details and again that OP will direct you to the warranty OP.

btw, you can call and f off that guy who said need service tag only can assist online or via call, monitor is diff with other hardware (PC/system/server) you can ask that guy how many years he works for CS with Dell what an idiot fella

Does anyone know about this BenQ flicker-free GW2760HS monitor? It really effectively reduces eye fatigue caused by conventional monitors from prolonged computer use?icon_question.gif

thanks it works, he had required me to send him a photo which I did, but I received notification from Gmail, that the Dell eventually had blocked my e-mail. hmm.

anyway, thanks. I've got it when I called for the 2nd time. The 1st call was way too soft, I barely can hear his voice. Hahah.. Thank you for your kind help. So, are they going to replace one-to-one exchange for you? Have they confirmed with you all those dates? Hmm.. guess this Monitor might have batch QC problem I bet.. I've checked that the warranty for this monitor is only 3 years no longer 5 years.

wow. you're lucky. mine he was like hesitating. he even requested me to send the picture twice. one with a clearer picture. seems like a 8 mp camera from a mobile phone is not valid for his verification i guess. I still have to use my DSLR to capture the faulty screen. Sigh. Not easy to take pix of a monitor cry.gif I hope I can get mine by tomorrow too. What time did they resolved everything? 11am? It's going to be noon soon. I hope I can get it tomorrow instead of next Monday.

Why is that so? Did the warranty stated by itself that we're only entitled to claim only once?
