hi,

i wanna ask, I see most of the builds does not come with a cooler.

is it necessary to have 1? or the integrated cooler is sufficient?
*
All the cpu does come with their stock cooler (HSF). IMHO if no overclocking there's no need for aftermarket cooler.

Minus off the casing cost and use it to pump up GPU to Sapphire HD7850 1gb/2gb perhaps.

Correct, unless the person is looking for something to fit the build or OC.

Hello, asking on behalf of my friend

So a friend of mine is getting a new pc, but he want a pc that cost around 2k mainly to play Dota 2

So he was quoted these specs

i5 3470
Asus P8H77 - MLE
RAM
750 GB HDD
Leadtek GT630 2GB
500 watts PSU
DVD reader
Casing
Win 7HP OEM

i did some calculation its around RM 2.2k

So i'm wondering whether these specs do justice for the price mainly the processor and GPU and what modifications are needed to get the best value for the price. Thanks

(No brand preference, and no other accessories to be included)

Well if u dint post it here, u fren might have got cheated,
GT630 is not for gaming, no brand for HDD, PSU, Casing? he might put it in some cheap stuffs and make it look like its good, with RM2000 u could get a pc that can play battlefield 3 without problem at Ultra
