Scroll to 1m23s . Shane Long had just created a new method to trap defenders, really. It's sad that Phil Dowd can't see that, giving his stature as among credible ref in EPL.

Usually people will plant their other foot and harden their body when trying to make such interception. Long on the other hand fell easily in the incident. laugh.gif

suarez can never score enough goals for us, at least until now.

time to gamble with young morgan, suso or whoever we have. suarez is not our CF. i believe owen could have done better.

how ironic. saving face with 1m vs fulham just to get owen back. someone must be very wrong in the head

the problem with suarez is he tries to do everything by himself. Could see him switching position from the cf position to anywhere else on the field even though we already have lots of mf to support. I think suarez should focus on doing his job as a cf and let the creativity to flow from the midfielders.

Why defend the indefensible? Suarez is the main culprit!
Given the inordinate amount of scoring opportunities (usually more than half) Suarez strike rate is poor. Let's analyse Liverpool 's plight and the pathetic performances of the offence.
Why isn't he clinical?

Perhaps we should  look at Messi's to contrast.
Messi creates or strives to score everytime he gets an opportunity. He does not look for cheap fouls or go down easily. That's what make this natural leftie the best  footballer currently playing.

Liverpool had more scoring opportunities (17 shots with 8 on target) & better goal opportunities than Arsenal (11 shots with 7 on target).
And Suarez HOGGED more than half of them, some of them clear cut opportunities. Even the free kicks  shakehead.gif
But more than 50% of that he tries to comp a foul or penalty. His on field body language reveals it.
PL referees are wise up to him & so does Liverpool's opponents.

Suarez is not an HONEST footballer. He is a SERIAL Cheat.  That's a fact
This is a general consensus amongst my teammates (most of them red fans and one of them is a scouser) when we were discussing Liverpool's plight and pathetic performances over  our customary post match (Fridays) drinks. I  pinpointed that Suarez is a liability and they agreed with me.

Yes Messi does cheat too (Hand of God) but with his natural left hand.  biggrin.gif

Cogitate, Correlate & Communicate. Go figure.

For a team without CL football and with a limited budget, Suarez is the best player that's available to Liverpool. Football fans can shoot him or praise him, question his attitude on the field or whatever; what BR can do to Suarez right now is to help him find his goal-scoring form.
