to people who said FSG funded our transfer, hell no. Even if they were, its not 100m! we got money from player sales, last year it was torres, babel, meireles. This year, its not theirs probably from sponsors - warrior, standard chartered etc. wake up people, they're typical american.

Learn to be grateful people. We were on the fringe of administration last year, which means bankrupt. Take it as an investment from FSG. I duno how rich they are as a person to be able to fork out 20M for a player. But chances that they would rather buy a stewart downing or to use that money for other investment is pretty low.

how about the stadium issue?been quiet for a while now. They kept saying that they need to consider everything before making any decisions. How long will that take? Its almost 2 years now isn't it?

BR did say that they made an enquiry long ago and Fulham said no bid came in so its obvious we don't think the asking price is worth it. Our lack of interest till the end of the window is evident of our lack of interest and that he is not our main target. I believe our main target is Sturridge but since Chelsea couldn't get someone in too, the deal felled through.

For all the people pointing that we were 1-2m away from signing Dempsey, some even quoted a precise 1m. Seriously? You work for the club? You were directly involved in the deal? Don't judge if you don't know the truth. It could have been more or as ESPN quoted we didn't even make a bid! Or Fulham waited till the last minute when Spurs came in then they chose to close all negotiations with us due to grudge because they knew Dempsey was desperate to get out and Spurs is his final option.
