Gerrad does seems to struggle abit at this advanced position. I dun think it suits him.He played in htat position before for Rafa but he is at his best when we are counter-attacking, with more pace and direct,also Its pretty much 2 defensive midfielders guarding him when allen and lucas sit back against west brom

And another thing is we are signing a goal poacher and puts him wide to deliver crosses and cut-in. Would be better to try and play him in the box instead.

Whoever is handling Carroll's situation here, its pretty much unacceptable....Similar to how Levy pushed Crouch out of spurs...

so unlucky injured again Carroll. Anyone seeing him coming bac after this season loan? IMO the possibility of him coming back is rather low.

Either West Ham gets relegated, Carroll on godlike form and scores 20+ in the EPL or Liverpool replace BR with Allardyce. If he perform ok and scores 10 odd goals i still don't see BR fitting him into his system.But if he really develop into a world beater than that should be a different case.

West ham once said the signing of carroll alone would ensure them safety. Someone who is rated so highly by others but still willing to fight for his place in the club despite being under appreciated. But we wouldn't know what prompted BR decision not to play him. talk is cheap.

Learn to be grateful people. We were on the fringe of administration last year, which means bankrupt. Take it as an investment from FSG. I duno how rich they are as a person to be able to fork out 20M for a player. But chances that they would rather buy a stewart downing or to use that money for other investment is pretty low.
