It's normal, apply the benchmark again you might get yourself 510mb/s.

May i know the difference between mSata and Sata SSD?
Performance wise any different?

If for CPU, would it better to use Sata instead of mSata?

If your motherboard has mSata slot it would be benefit as OS drive, then your HDD, SSHD, SSD can be as your storage biggrin.gif

Erm, I'm new to SSD, budget around RM350
Checked the read/write speed these 3 like more worth..

Intel 330 120 GB RM 370
120GB : Read/Write = 500/450MB/s

Kingston V300 120GB RRP RM 320
120GB Value: Read/Write = 450/450MB/s

Sandisk Extreme 120 GB RM 385
120GB : Read/Write = 550/510MB/s

But these 3 using SandForce and SandForce sounds not so good after reading this thread...
Need advice man! HELP

Ok, since you have been reading this thread, I'm guessing you also know that Plextor M5S are currently reliable and best buy for now (look carefully).

As for the 3 SSD you've mentioned, besides of Intel 330 that already discontinued in some countries, the rest I think it's okay. Sandforce controller were bad in the previous SSD but now they have been some improvements ( hope so ). But lets face it, not everybody willing to gamble right?

In the end, despite all the improvements that SandForce had made, I'm still sticking with Marvell, knowing that I prefer reliability rather than performance, and not much of a benchmark enthusiast.

Find a better price, some seller in Penang already increase the price ... Though I think there's still someone in LYN still selling as introductory price, that's why I said look carefully.

Should be no problem. But the program will loading/start-up bit slower compare if install to SSD. Thats all...
