hi guys,

I have updated my Mac mini 2011 to 8 GB RAM and Corsair 120GB Force 3 SSD. and then I got an other Corsair 120GB Force 3 as a gift. Do you think that is worth to spend RM280 to buy 1 more sata cable then install second SSD on my Mac mini?

thx

I got question about this SSD, HERE , not sure whether is worth buy or not.

No experience on SSD before.
Capacity large enough, just not sure about the quality build / speed / etc etc related about SSD.

Wanna seek sifu sifu here advise.

SSD for speed and shock resistant only. Not design to last long. Life spam i think few times shorter than HDD.

Is 60GB SSD is enough to install windows 7 and a software like ccleaner, sony vegas, after effect and so on?

I dont plan to put games in ssd because games usually has huge files, my games will be going on black caviar
*
i have window, office, Photoshop and some minor software. 60gb is more than enough if no games.

I'm noob about SSD. While browsing, it seems Intel 330 120 is the cheapest SSD one can buy. But I read something about sandforce issue.

Other option are Crucial M4.

However, reason I want to go for SSD:

1. Get rid of annoying Diablo III lag
2. Faster windows 7 boot up

Budget around RM380. Anyone can recommend value for money with balance performance? Thanks.
*
1. D3 will still lag.
2. Yes boot up very fast.

Rm380 can buy most of the brand 120G+-
