Anyway I think there are many ways for upgrade Kenari performance,

upgrade to YRV 1.3 Engine.

upgrade to Open Pod Air Filter

Use Fully copper grounding cable.

Use Fully Synthetic Engine Oil.

Use iridium Spark Plug

etc etc

My Kenari Auto is 12 year old, currently when the fun still to kick in, the car will start to shake a while, then is normal back, same for the air cond, when the fan starts to spins, the car will shake a while , then normal back, tjhis is only happen during car idle at traffic light ,when car is moving, the engine very smooth , Any sifu encounter this or has any suggesting to it ?
i have ask the workshop, their reply is this is old car with 3 cyrinder engine is like that. I do not want to change car unless this is unable to rectify .For info, this was happen recently . For info 3 mountings, spark plug coil have been changed 3 months ago Please advise or recommend any good workshop the rectify this ? TQ

He changed to Toyota injector modify to work in Kenari.

Have you try clean throttle body?

Ask your mechanic...could be not enough air flow.

I got new problem...well not new, some years already just that recently I got fedup.

My Driver side door very hard to close, like had to slam hard only can close. I feel it's the rubber lining but when I touch it's not that hard.

What I do is, everytime I want to close my driver side door, I had to roll down the window, then only easy to close, other wise when I slam the door it will like bounce back.

Anyone knows why?

Is it the rubber seal?

common 3 cerlinder engine is like that ,, accept u change to 4 crelinder like YRV turbo or NA engine ,, then definily will be better ...
mostly plug and play ... mind also kenari Aero sport also 12 years olds ... plans to change engine ...
also one more recommande ,,, L900 / 4 cerlinder / 660 cc / 16v / DOCH / Turbo engine .. not bad can consider this engine as well

My Kenari problem solved. It is just a main earth wire loose. After tighten it , every things are solved.

Before that many workshop checked and cannot find the main caused, just said 3 cylinder engine is like that . But how come the shake so bad when the fan starts to spin ? I would said may machanic just lack of experence on dignosing old cars .

Actually that happened to my kenari many years ago. The mechanic kept checking and finally located the problem to the wire. Simple solution but took long time to look for it.

Few months later he thanked me. His wife drives a kenari too and had later complained of the same shaking problem. After working on my car, he immediately knew where to look and could solve his wife car issue easily.

Where is the main earth wire located?

Noticed my power steering fluid leaking. Trace of oil can be seen near the water outlet for aircon cooling coil.

Any solution? Suspect oil seal for the power steering rack. How much is the whole new power steering rack?
Or cost of changing the oil seal?

jaesern , my engine has started eating oil and i think might be time to change the belts too. should i just rebuild the old engine or would it be more worthwhile changing to l7/l9? should be a little quicker as it got extra 15hp right? not going the k3 route as that need more moolah.

how old is your battery? in addition, consider also spark plug and throttle cleaning.



door striker plate and/or door hinge? send to body & paint workshop to repair.



best if you can get brand new p/steering rack, or else i would suggest you to go for Kenari halfcut, not sure if L9 can fit. don't really recommend recon or replace oil seal, hardly it get to done up properly.



what's your mileage? check on engine compression dry and wet to determine full overhaul or top overhaul.
for me, i'll either rebuild the 989cc stock engine or upgrade to k3ve, since you're changing engine, go up, no point to go down to 660cc even thou it has turbo, no replacement for displacement, you'll suffer when you're on highway.

Anyone here modded their car to Move L900 rs?

Wanna know if anyone having problem with their engine light on due to O2 sensor.

I sent to workshop and they checked the fault code is for the rear O2 sensor but the exhaust doesn't have any. Only one O2 sensor near the engine.

I'm suspecting the exhaust I'm having is not the right one. There's one extra socket under the gearbox that doesn't connect to anywhere.

Can anyone confirm there's a second O2 sensor on their Move L900 rs?

currently at 215k. still running fine just that it has become like a chore to monitor the oil level daily. not that critical tho just need to topup abit maybe 3 weeks or so? hmm..in that case i might as well save money for storia. was into k3vet but alot of friends was having heat problem so maybe k3ve is enough. thanks bro!
