Got my xp2 biggrin.gif
Few question, how many hours should i burn in?and i am using a sony walkman NWZ-E453, isit need to off my equalizer when listening to it?
*
Please do read the first page for more info, 70+ hours for starter, 150+ hours for best performance.
Mine feels much better after 300+ hours. Mostly just listen to it when it pass 150+ hours, sibilance should lax at this point onward.

Yes you are correct, at least give it a 2 days, 50 hours burn in, you can just play music.

Hey guys,

My XP1 earphones have no audio.

But when I twist the wire's, a little audio plays.

Other than that, it has no sound.

I need help, bought it at Parkson.

Where should I claim warranty for it?

Thank you, and have a nice day.

Hoping for a fast reply from you guys. smile.gif

there are few ways you can claim the warranty, contact enquiry@beyerdynamic.com.my, they can assist you this problem.

i like its ability to isolate external noise. once i put it on while driving, i feel like i am driving a Merc - no noise from outside at all rclxms.gif

So they really sound better after burn in? My XP3 sounds pretty muddy right out of the box. I'm not sure if its before burn in, or its because my ears are used to my ATH-M50.. sweat.gif

Almost every dynamic driver IEM/headphone needs burn-in, some has significant some has little to no improvement and will depends on each person's ear.
If you get used to those monitor headphone, yes, those 0-hour driver will sound very muddy and has no whatsoever quality except they delivers audio.
My XP3 has 300-hour before I actually appreciate the peak quality though now rarely use it due to my EPH-100 (can't let go sweat.gif ), will gets some foam some other times (not planned) to really wear it comfortably at my ear. smile.gif

Xp2 and 3 will be my recommendation, either you prefer lesser bass or much balance sound, for me i will go for XP3.

Just got this news from Jaben Network, Beyerdynamic had launched their latest XP series Earphone.
Pretty unexpected on this news, seem they are targeting more affordable market as well.
The pricing of RM199 is pretty crazy, especially they have 3 different sounding models in same price.
Packed with features such as tangle-free, angle fit, L-shape jack which pretty much gathered all the great design in the market, and hit hard!

Do you need burn in?
*Yes, according to user Beyerdynamic Xp series starting to shine in around 70+ hours, fully perform in 150+ hours.

What can you tune about the sound?
*I did have a play with the double flange and stock single flange tips, the sound is pretty different between these two.
Double flange provides better staging and more extension on treble & bass spectrum.
Single flange offers better speed and impact, everything moved forward with more aggressive sound enhanced.

Why i don't any bass respond in the earphone? i thought they are strong?
*Most probably the fitting issue, as angel fit requires better fitting due to their natural solid in inner ear canal, twist a little bit around your ear, with noise isolated seal you can get great bass respond.

Do 3 of them just different on bass quantity?
*No they are not, base on my personal experience and customer feedback, 3 of them presented different signature to your taste, try them if you are able to.

Cable microphonic sound?
*The "bup" sound when the cable touched your body. Try to slide up the cable slider to a comfortable zone, it will reduce a lot.
