QUOTE(Memories_Fallen @ Aug 17 2012, 10:53 PM) Can I say comparable? But FAD is a higher tier IEM while in every FAD there is 'something' special. I couldn't say it in words, unmentionable. I think no headphone, earphone able to challenge Monster beats bass. They are just 80% about bass in the songs.

The flat cable could be a plus, could be a minus, it is cool naturally, and it is anti tangle. Meaning no matter how you put it, it can't be tangled. It is also more durable.

QUOTE(Boomeraangkid @ Sep 2 2012, 07:10 PM) Definitely you can preorder. Which model?QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Sep 3 2012, 08:54 AM) Oh and to add to the burn-in, now I'm using movie soundtrack (by John Williams) *ahem* *ahem* from friend, he recommend me to use this as burn-in as it'll enrich some of the part that the JLABS burn-in tool won't do, I'll go straight with the soundtrack for couple more days (maybe just this week) before I start putting my own anime soundtrack (vocal, rock, pop, metal) to further tune-in. Never heard of this issue. Just dont slam it with loud volume and let it rest for some time later is enough. At my current stage, after 7+ hours of JLABS, 9+ hours of movie soundtrack, the bands sounds smooth now, more mids compare to 7+ hours JLABS, of course I can't compare to the 80+ hours which is so great I want to exchange his with mine (very tempted). Sound stage wise, still can't compare to my trusted oldie AT-CK300M, yes it was the one that slowly poison me into this world, old yet sound still great (burn until wire also stiff -.-;;) Will burn-in again the whole day, probably rest 10+ minutes after 1 round (1 hour 50 minutes each round) try not to overheat the diaphragm . p/s: Was suggested NOT to use JLABS burn-in tool after 20+ hours burn-in as it'll spoil the diaphragm like there's no tomorrow. True? I'm not sure, cause I'm using the movie soundtrack now as highly recommended, soundtrack is also good to enrich the bass, mid, and also detail of the instruments. QUOTE(farisq @ Sep 3 2012, 10:58 PM) tough choice there, coz I like balance and forward sound. Bass also need to be there but not overwhelming XP3 I guess, XP2 if you like more ohmp... |

I guess Beyerdynamic promised a good sound to be reproduced. |

Cheers for a new Beyer XP earphone user.
This earphone really builds like so sturdy, clapping them together produce is metal hitting metal sound, while the packaging resembles the old DT231, if you recall, the headphone is d@mn unappealing while providing you so bang for buck sound. And they are build like tanks. This post has been edited by walabies: Sep 9 2012, 05:42 PM |
