I'm experiencing the same problem as these people,it all started yesterday.I was leisurely lying on my bed reading mag with my XP3 on when suddenly i'm no longer hearing the bass.At first i thought that my music file was corrupted, then when tried with a jazz song(not much bass),the vocal disappeared altogether!!! rclxub.gif .I've been using for 1 month only,so to have this problem occur on a supposed Germany-made IEMs is quite disappointing.Need advice, especially from Wallabies. icon_question.gif

Beyerdynamic is German but XP Series are exclusively manufactured in China. Im not surprised that the QC is a bit off.

Hey guys, i am totally new in all this iem things. I am just using a 50 bucks fake 'beats'. I plan to buy myself a proper iem, at first i found the Hippo Pearl, cause my budget is only around rm100+, then one of my friend told me about this beyerdynamic xp series, is it worth for paying about rm80 extra?

It's worth IMO. I've got a hippo pearl as well and I find the pearl a bit fragile. I've changed mine under warranty in less than 3 months of using the pearl before... twice.. ._.

Thanks for the reply smile.gif
One more problem, I cant really decide between xp2 and xp3. I am not a bass lover, normal amount of bass is enough, so i know xp1 is definitely not my type but treble is ok

I haven't tested xp1, but I've tried xp2 and xp3 briefly and here are my thoughts:

For the price, I was impressed with the highs and lows for xp2. Pretty decent extension.
However I didn't like the mids at all. I found the sound thin and abit shrilly at times. Very V shaped signature.

This is more apparent with the xp3. Very light bass overpowered by mostly the highs. Mids is just as thin and highs are abit too sharp for my liking. Easier to get fatigue after some time of listening. Feels like I'm plotting a linear graph for this one.

If you do want to get the xp, I'd recommend the xp2. However best u try it yourself to see what suits your taste.

Where are u located? Many places have these for demo, I tried them in 1utama Mac city. Most apple outlets should have them I think. If u do go to Jaben, check out the A-Jays and VSonic. They have a few around that price range which might sound better.

You can follow Beyerdynamic Malaysia fb page, they do have a list where you can buy from https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beyerdynamic...552162788139114
But it seem they didnt update it, as they mentioned it will have more retail outlets selling XP series.

Hey guys, I have beyer XP1, and didnt use it for 3 months. Will it spoil or lose quality? Coz when I tried it, the quality of sound is blerghh no bass what so ever. Tried both using mp3 and flac formatted songs. Is this normal? or mine is somehow defected?

Hey guys,

My XP1 earphones have no audio.

But when I twist the wire's, a little audio plays.

Other than that, it has no sound.

I need help, bought it at Parkson.

Where should I claim warranty for it?

Thank you, and have a nice day.

Hoping for a fast reply from you guys. smile.gif
