double flange able to expand the staging, extend the decay of the bass, not too sure on mid and treble.

Yes, the mid and treble sounded better to me by using the double-flange IMHO, though I'm not sure how others feels.

dropped by jaben earlier today.managed to get a new baby for my ipod

Attached Image

As im more into RnB and modern rock,i found that the XP2 suits my taste as the bass is not as punchy as XP1 and not too light as the XP3; perfect balance of clarity and bass thumping

Hey guys, anybody compared the xp series with VSonic GR02 Bass Ed? Just wondering if the XP series is a significant upgrade, since the GR02 was already a fantastic IEM for its price. smile.gif

I had auditioned the GR02 and took the XP3 instead, the bass is strong on the GR02 but I like something more on the mid and detail so I chose XP3, GR02 is great, but the bass is similar to XP1, way too much unless you're one that like Beats that kind of Bass.
Anyway, XP3 is great (almost 300-hour, yeah babe!) but it seems my ear can't accustom to the huge driver build housing, hurts my ear every time I wear for more than half-an-hour, I have found a way to minimize the stress but it'll still hurts my ear, at least I can now wear longer, probably an hour or slightly more. sweat.gif

GR02 sounded more warm compare with XP series.
V-sonic always product earphone sounds "Correct", you get detail suppose at here, balance in there etc...

But lacking fun is the draw back.

i normally call that type of pattern sounding "surgical", like a surgery, everything needs to be precise and exact, no more no less
