Hi guys, wanna ask about the monthly billing.
I went to pay the bill, and here's my situation.

Service start @ 14/07/12, billing is until 23/09/12.
Maxis charged me Rm168.xx.
With a rebate/discount of RM100, so end up i paid RM 68.xx.

then my parents ask, how is this amount generated?
They check the system and surprisingly they told them the package we sign-up is RM 218/ month.

can anyone clarify this? the perpetual discount is meant to be given every month? RM 218 - RM 100 = RM 118?

thank you.

perpetual means everlasting

I'd rather have a good internet speed and stability rather than IPTV as you can watch it online and do other stuffs too....
*
true but this have nothing to do with your internet connection, for eg
1) Unifi is using additional bandwidth to carter for IPTV,
5Mbps for internet + 3Mbps for iptv + ~8kps for voip
2) They r riding on vlan (to separate network),
that mean if ur internet got problem... your voip phone and iptv can still work

from wat i see, this is a nice add-on

but again, dont put your hope too high...
if it is astro, they goona ask u to sign another contact + huge unnecessary package

QUOTE(krel89 @ Sep 17 2012, 12:19 PM)
well, at first maxis want to lunch first, but astro has second toughts..
so after 2 years of fighting in meeting table, they want maxis to be their partner.. that's why when maxis already signup with 14 provider, astro  already kecut perut la... their iptv is limited area while maxis has wider coverage.. they should done this 2 years ago.. what a drama~

true, wtf they use TIME FIBRE for IPTV at the first place...
not like TIME FIBRE have huge market oso, yawn.gif

now after see Maxis FIBRE got bigger, oni wan to play sister company card doh.gif

there would not have been any issues if telecommunication in Malaysia esp for broadband and fibre optic is at a level playing field with no monopoly.... competition is always good for consumers! Unfortunately it took two years before competition started but how can you consider it competition when the backbone still belongs to one player??

regards the backbone,
from wat i see TM Backbone is co-own by the government
and government wan bigger and faster broadband penetration on nationwide level
but TM's marketing unable to delivered
so rite now they force TM opened out the backbone to another ISP

if this is true, i predict YES & U Mobile will be joining tm's fibre too
sorry for DiGi's user, from history... foreign company will be hard

---
note: the fight is now, maxis is attacking home customer and p1 is fighting for corporate

This is of paramount importance!
Cooling Fan is essential for maxis ffth thomson router.

LOL!
sori, can't help it but to mock this.
maybe maxis should bundle the fan in their package.

after make some ''research'' and found out that no matter how maxis ping is low , unifi sure lower than it ..........

this is very misleading...
FYI, I hv no problem with over heating issue and da devices have sufficient ventilation/cooling power
another most important fact is I never turn off my device since day 1!!!~ except for few reboot cool2.gif

I just wan to inform u guys, u all hv been fool by Maxis CS!!!
the device have no problem, it is Maxis themself...
from wat i see, they have multiple issue at their load balancer, router, authentication server, p2p's-QoS throttle software, the stupid captive portal redirection to MyLaunchPad... and lots more at international link shocking.gif

yes, we all are maxis's guinea pig... cry.gif
First batch is always suck mad.gif

I don't wait till heat slowly "kills" both devices... USB is already built in, might as well use it.
Cool is good for electronic devices.
We don't hear a warm Data Center, right ?

I am a downloader and not a gamer hence I should go for public IP right? Any what test should I do after installation?
