we already pay to maxis for ftth service, why need to pay more for seedbox service?
*
i use seedbox coz i use private torrent client need to have healthy seed/leech ratio.
and at my home got many user. i dont want to hog the network when using p2p software.
last time i use streamyx 4mb with xunlei client. my other family members cannot even load a webpage.
i know can set bandwidth limit, but using seedbox is better as i can maintain ratio and dont hog the bandwidth.
and seedbox service is pretty cheap.

Streamyx ADSL = Asymmetric
Maxis FTTH = Symmetric

Pls dont compare apple vs orange here and don't hog the network, only seed what u leech. Cheap or expensive, it still need to be paid if u want to use. IMO, Maxis FTTH customer already pay enough RM for the service.

Expect a sharp drop of new subscribers & majority customer once no contract will not return forever, no matter what maxis promise later. Extremely unwise decision to save a few bandwidth but lost branding goodwill. Classic case of diggnig own graveyard.

Unifi can safely increase price now rclxms.gif

Guys, anyone here experience slow torrent download speed using maxis ftth? My speed is capped at <100kbps. I should be having about 1.0mbps of download speed coz im using 10Mbps plan. I didnt have problem downloading using my unifi 5Mbps. Seeders and leechers are in fairly good amount. Anyone can advice me on this?

Edited : ignore me. Should have read few pages back. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Anyone can confirm is PPStream also affected during the capped period?
I can survive without torrent download. But I can't survive without PPS

yes maxis is now up in damansara jaya.

my TG784n v3 shows green light for broadband, internet and wireless.

but shows red light for the left most light (the one with a leaf symbol)

but internet is working fine.

what does that red light mean? before it went down it was green.

Hmm... Just tried PirateBay and it was impossible to get magnet link anymore even after I upgraded to Utorrent3.

Further blocking huh...

Problem fixed after power cycle both router and btu modem.
