this is to be expected... because of unifi's iptv many ppl already terminate astro
astro will not allow 'other' iptv to worsen the situation.

now i wonder how maxis's iptv going to sell their channel??
bundle their channel like astro (with a lot of unwanted channel) or sell individual channel like unifi... hehe
one thing for sure, other provider must be not happy bout this.

im using maxis FTTH 30mb but when i play games on steam like dota2 and CSGO. I get really bad and disappointing latency. Even my old 1mb streamyx give better latency then maxis. How ? anybody else face this same problem and how to fix it?

Expect a sharp drop of new subscribers & majority customer once no contract will not return forever, no matter what maxis promise later. Extremely unwise decision to save a few bandwidth but lost branding goodwill. Classic case of diggnig own graveyard.

Unifi can safely increase price now 

Partially true for the torrent part. Throttle is part of the fair usage policy. Applies 8pm to 2 am only.

If we use maths & assume consistent max speed for torenting;

Maxis 10MB -
24 hour DL = 60 x60 x24 = 86400 seconds x 10MB = 864000MB per second
8pm to 2am throttle DL = 6 hours = 21600MB X 10MB = 216000MB per second
864000MB - 216000 = 648000MB per second

Unifi 5MB
24 hour DL = 86400 seconds x 5MB = 432000MB per second

Maxis is still 50% faster than Unifi eith consideration of throttle 8pm to 2am by Maxis.
