QUOTE(FlyWheel @ Jan 7 2013, 06:29 PM) Modern petrol station pumps are equipped with vapour recovery systems that feed back gasoline vapours into their own tanks to prevent vapours from escaping into the air and contributing to air pollution. Any additional petrol you try to pump into your tank may be drawn into the vapour line and fed back into the station’s storage tanks.][/b] Im not an expert in petrol station tank design but i think it doesnt quite make sense for the fuel itself to be drawn back into the station's tank as all pumps are equipped with a backflow stop valve. Thats why the pump always cuts off when the vapour increases beyond a certain level or when the sensor at the end of the pump picks up fuel. You might end up paying more for nothing, pls check carefully with our petrol station as our system might not be the same as theirs as in the articles. |

QUOTE(vk5 @ Jan 8 2013, 09:34 AM) noted bro...which brand do you recommend? Currently the best Ron 95 fuel in the market is the new BHP Infinity Advance 2X. Its a Euro 3 fuel while all other fuels in Malaysia are still Euro 2. Ive tried it and its quite good. But sadly, i have to stick to Shell due to company policy. Damn! |

Most of my fuel ups are either at night or early morning. But once in a while if you need to fill during the day, then its not gonna make much difference in my opinion.recommend to pour during cooler condition (morning or night) |

My company policy only requires me to pump RON95, but did not state what petrol brand. However, it is quite difficult sometimes to find BHP stations compared to Shell. |

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Jan 7 2013, 02:23 PM) So u pumped in 64L with 2 bars remaining rite? Did i fill until almost overflowing? So surely if almost empty, your max capacity will be much more than 70L. Hi Cybermaster98,I'm much perturbed that I can't fill more than 65Litres into the fuel tank to minimize the number of times I have to visit the petrol station. How did u managed to do it? Btw, if all else fails, could you kindly screenshot a copy of your receipt on your 80Litres of petrol so I could actually bring it up to Naza-Kia and check on my fuel tank capacity. They could've installed a wrong one on my ride though. Cheers! |

QUOTE(funnybone @ Jan 8 2013, 11:39 AM) thats my workshop told me to practice that in order for your battery life goes longer... and battery need to recharge by ignite your car engine... im not sure about new car, but one of my gen2 and iswara had to practice that, or else the battery will die in 5 days time (and i need to jump start using jumper), maybe some of the electrical component is still running such as clock/ alarm and etc.. thus, it consume the battery .. and battery might dry out total if too long never start your car engine.. |
