Anyone facing power window problem ?
Where hard to wind up at certain time.
According the The Star paper today, mentioned that Toyota recalling car manufactured in year 2006 onwards for the defects.

Did anyone been rectify these issue at service centre ?
What happen if those car owners stop their routine at service centre ? Are these group still entitled to claim from service centre even stop servicing at service centre ??

For safety reason, the recall should apply to all affected model even though you service outside.
According to them, they will call the owner to make an appointment. It might affect certain batch although manufactured on the same year.

Been using semi sync all the way after 1K coz the price difference is not that much. Use the e-voucher to cover the cost.

dunno if its just pure bad luck...

my vios only 11.8 months old..(not yet 1 year) and have so many problems d.

now timing belt morning cold start got noise... and my brake noise since 3 months old until now not solved.

also not forgetting my dashboard rattling nnoise...until now!!!!! wtf.

thinking to sell it and get a conti

I just got my Vios 1.5(A) J on 10th October 2012. Any MASTER SIFU wanna slightly brief on the break in period for new Vios?

Damm pissed off, just got my VIOS 1.5G(A) 2 weeks ago, the found out the radio system is the old one different from the brochure, others is indeed 2012. Complained but the replied the new radio is only for production 2 days after I'd placed my order. They willing to compensate for free servises, but damm, I want the new radio!

G spec got new audio player? how does the old one look like?

deng... saw it already... a lot more functions and it's not integrated anymore

just checked with them, they said they don't sell and install that new radio separately as accessories, they only provide it pre-installed upon placing order for the new vehicle.

maybe can get from stockist then install outside...

not only this latest 2-DIN radio, even the AVX and AVN DVD players also, they said they don't sell it as accessories, they only will install it for those who ordered during the new vehicle purchase.

Max Speed with down hill 198km/h
Max Speed normal drive 190km/h
Max RPM 7000
Maximum Fuel save RM0.11 drive not exceed 120km/h or RM0.14 Exceed 160 km/h. or maximum taken RM0.16 at 190 km/h ...

Engine Lubricant use : Castrol A5 0w30 Fully Synthetic, change every 8,000 km.
Auto Oil use : Toyota WS made in japan. Change every 20,000 km.

Fuel injector clear on every 10,000km.

with NGK irridium spark plug

others all original.

Nice thread guys. I have been driving the 1st Gen Vios since 2004 n i just realized the existence of this thread.

I think additional accessories not factory fitted they dont insured kot
