Got my car back n still have to pay for the 2pcs of O2 sensor n MAF sensor, this morning the sa call say everything is fine now, ask what they do, answer the sensor change n some tuning, test my car n was suprise throttle is ok but the rpm is not so stable as before but rpm is quiet low but anyway quiet happy becos problem solve but have to folk out RM1810.50
*
I too faced the same issue last year, but they change the O2 sensor under warranty, its only $600 plus. Why are yours so exp? I wonder why the current gen Vios have this O2 sensor issue.

Fyi, the same prob (rpm drop) happened again after 2 months replacing the sensor. I couldn't be bothered anymore. Kinda disappointed with Toyota.

So, the prime suspect is our RON95 fuel huh? That kinda makes sense as I rarely go for high octane fuel. Gotta alternate between 95 and 97 to see any improvements

juz get the call from SC, the problem cant be identified. LOL.. zzz.. they said they need to write in to KL for advise on this issue.. means need to wait.. cry.gif
haiz...

here is my symptoms ya, c u guys got any idea of it:
1) the humming sound and vibration only kick in when reach 80KMh.
2) below and above 80kmh the humming sound gone, but the vibration just reduce
3) replaced both of the front wheel bearings last weeks.
4) SC checked the lower arm but no issue found.

I know what u meant, I experienced the same thing too on my ex vios manual (stolen) at the same speed as yours. It's not all the time though, only after cold start 1st time hitting 80 kmh in the morning. I've driven another G spec autobox during the recent cny and it occurs too

Got my white vios 3rd gen 2013 recently, j spec, actually opted for honda city but cancelled because the color cannot change to white from black...

no regrets..enjoying every bit of it so far, the ride is much softer than trd and the engine more quiet than test drive unit.... they shud have used j spec as test drive car man

bila mau yumcha for 3rd gen vios owners?
*
Softer than trd? I thought suspension setup is the same across all spec?

Anyway, congrats to your new ride.
