If AV lose, then I lose all hope of the Malaysian justice system. The gomen will bully the rakyat by blocking FS because of copyright infringement without caring if it's being used for legal reasons or not, but let big "priority" companies like Assteruk get away with copyright infringement because of "favour".

I think AV wl lose, cos if ass loses the cronies lose as well, and with retired influential CJ sitting in assto wat more can one expect! yawn.gif

Confirmed international feed has clock.

Also confirm that there is a delay of 4-5 minutes. Note in pix clock on channel say 13:13 (it's obscured, but still readable) while clock on Decoder is 1:17.

If you want the PVR decoder, need to pay extra for the Beyod PVR decoder. Else, you will get the normal Beyond PVR decoder, and to use the PVR service, you need the WD external hard disk.

But I subscribe almost for half year also no PVR recorder....
Last time I upgrade, the installer say no PVR recorder include, on that time I though is just free for the service.
Or is it the Astro B.yond that black box is PVR already? Then direct plug the External HDD then can run ?

The PVR service is included in the package, it is only that your STB doesn't support it unless you put the WD external HDD (expensive and hard to find) at the back of the decoder or get a Beyond PVR (less expensive, but need wiring).

I remember from earlier Assteruk B.yond Episode threads that Assteruk claims that recordings on the hard disk is encrypted and cannot be transferred to PC, and they won't allow it :/

No longer hard to find now. Any 150GB HDD can be used now but it can be quite a task to find a 150GB HDD nowadays. The other alternative and also the easiest way is to order it directly from Astro. The first one is sold for RM80 only. Then it is RM199 for all subsequent order using the same Astro account.

Astro Pvr decoder has 1 hdmi out and 1 composite out. Use the composite out to the HDD DVD player and record the program in HDD DVD player. However the recording and burning will will not be in HD format

I guess I can't really take it anymore with the current signal strength in my condo unit. It's extremely bad reception even its a bright sunny day .. Always got disconnected with error message.

Out of 100% signal strength bar - mine is about 20% only .. Now I can't cancel the subscription but bare with it ? sad.gif

Well, I'm too far from Singapore to get OTA signals, but I'd assume so...

Does MediaCorp offer an app that streams CNA to iPad or iPhone users, paid or FOC? I can use that to check. I used an IPTV app to confirm that Hypp is delaying France 24 and Euronews. (Strangely tho, DW is actually uncensored and arrives on Hypp 30 seconds faster than the app).
*
Al Jazeera on HyppTV were not censored, so I don't assume CNA is delayed and censored.
