QUOTE(lee82gx @ Oct 3 2012, 11:18 PM) hi guys. wondering if can get help here,... I just got my SD PVR installed today, now trying to get my remote recording working thru my android phone. Problem is after registering my login ID / email verification done, the part where I "link account" always fail whereby after putting in my ICm smart card no. and securty code. It returns with an error saying invalid astro account info provided. I can;t proceed even after calling astro customer service and following step by step. The CS says that there should be a box to tick check account or stg after the security code but as I see there is no such thing. I really want the remote recording function as Im away most of the time I got this solved in 24hrs by logging a complaint via the online feedback forms. THis is how I filled it up: Astro Feedback Category: Complaint Sub-category: Website Subject: Unable to link account Content: Everytime I fill in the correct details to link account: 1. NRIC 2. Smartcard ID # 3. Security code I get this prompt in red: Invalid astro account info provided. Full Name: Contact Number: Email Address: something@abc Astro Account Number: yyyyyyyy IC/Passport Number: 8xxxxx Preferred way to be contacted: Mail Hope this info helps.

QUOTE Viacom International launches Comedy Central Asia
VIACOM INTERNATIONAL MEDIA NETWORKS ASIA TO LAUNCH COMEDY CENTRAL ASIA ON NOVEMBER 1 THE FIRST ALL-COMEDY NETWORK TARGETING SOUTHEAST ASIAN REGION
SINGAPORE, 5 OCTOBER 2012: Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Asia has announced the November 1 launch of Comedy Central Asia - Southeast Asia's first 24-hour all-comedy network. Featuring a programming schedule designed for Asian viewers with original Comedy Central programming, sitcoms, stand-up and sketch comedy plus Emmy® and Peabody® award-winning content. Comedy Central Asia will air 24 hours a day, seven days a week in both standard-definition (SD) and high-definition (HD) targeting several markets throughout Southeast Asia.
With the upcoming launch of Comedy Central Asia, VIMN strengthens its offerings with its first venture into the adult-skewed entertainment space with the unique offering of 24/7 all-comedy entertainment targeting viewers aged 18 to 34 years old. Comedy Central Asia will feature both original and acquired content including Comedy Central's global hit series The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, South Park, Workaholics, and Key & Peele, the Asia Pay-TV premiere of such titles such as Anger Management, Happily Divorced, Jo Koy Lights Out, as well as classic titles Mind Your Language and Boiling Points. Encompassing a wide variety of comedy-genres from talk-show and stand-up comedy, animated sitcom, live-action sitcom, sketch-comedy, physical and gag, Comedy Central Asia will also feature a "Best of Asia" programming block showcasing regionally acquired shows such as the Singapore-produced comedy series The Noose, which was nominated for Best Comedy in the 2011 International Emmy® Awards, and eventually locally produced content.
The full programming schedule for Comedy Central Asia as well as platforms it will be available on will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
"We've been planning the launch of Comedy Central Asia for months, and we're looking forward to making audiences laugh out loud with top-notch programming from the US, Europe and Asia -- including Singapore," said Indra Suharjono, Viacom International Media Networks Asia's Executive Vice President and Managing Director. "Asian audiences' senses of humour are truly unique and varied, but I'm confident that Comedy Central Asia will offer something for all comedy lovers and strike the right balance to keep audiences laughing yet reflect our tastes and sensibilities." Can't wait too see it in HD, only if it's available (less censorship) here... This post has been edited by Qash-M: Oct 5 2012, 06:43 PM

Hell, there's already Adult Swim in Asia for years and they're not giving it to us! This post has been edited by RAMChYLD: Oct 6 2012, 11:58 AM

If AV lose, then I lose all hope of the Malaysian justice system. The gomen will bully the rakyat by blocking FS because of copyright infringement without caring if it's being used for legal reasons or not, but let big "priority" companies like Assteruk get away with copyright infringement because of "favour". QUOTE(Qash-M @ Oct 6 2012, 02:21 PM) The chs are not delayed......all chs on Starhub n Singtel are monitored for some months before the authority gave the operators the green light to launch it. The authorities required the operators to keep recordings for all chs for a certain period. If there are complaints, they will view the recordings n issue warnings to operators. Maybe after 2 or 3 warnings, they may request them yank it out fr their line-up.

In here, Astro "censored" certain local news report on BBC News & Al-Jazeera, yet they didn't get any punnishment from gov... That's why i've never take their (delayed) news pack anymore... FOX News n CNN HLN are 99% US news channels, shouldn't be a problem for Astro to offer them......clueless why they cannot offer it.

Which makes you wonder, rite, why DETV and both incarnations of Hypp.TV has CNA. If underdogs like them can afford it, surely it's nowhere as expensive as Fox or CNN... Come to think of it, don't bother with Fox news anymore. Their info is unchecked and half of it are rumors being pushed as true. They actually reported a fan video about iPhone 5 having hologram projector and built in laser keyboard as true Btw, Fox is Australian channel. They belong to News Corp which is said to have a stake in Assteruk. This post has been edited by RAMChYLD: Oct 6 2012, 09:09 PM

QUOTE(chuppachop @ Oct 6 2012, 09:03 PM) Is CNA on Hypp delayed too? Well, I'm too far from Singapore to get OTA signals, but I'd assume so... Does MediaCorp offer an app that streams CNA to iPad or iPhone users, paid or FOC? I can use that to check. I used an IPTV app to confirm that Hypp is delaying France 24 and Euronews. (Strangely tho, DW is actually uncensored and arrives on Hypp 30 seconds faster than the app). This post has been edited by RAMChYLD: Oct 6 2012, 09:10 PM
