hi guys. wondering if can get help here,...

I just got my SD PVR installed today, now trying to get my remote recording working thru my android phone.

Problem is after registering my login ID / email verification done, the part where I "link account" always fail whereby after putting in my ICm smart card no. and securty code.

It returns with an error saying invalid astro account info provided.

I can;t proceed even after calling astro customer service and following step by step. The CS says that there should be a box to tick check account or stg after the security code but as I see there is no such thing.

I really want the remote recording function as Im away most of the time

    Btw, does international news channel (BBC, CNN, FOX news etc) aired in Singapore delayed 'till 5min?

The chs are not delayed......all chs on Starhub n Singtel are monitored for some months  before the authority gave the operators the green light to launch it.

The authorities required the operators to keep recordings for all chs  for a certain period. If there are complaints, they will view the recordings n issue warnings to operators. Maybe after 2 or 3 warnings, they may request them yank it out fr their line-up.

FOX News n CNN HLN are 99% US news channels, shouldn't be a problem for Astro to offer them......clueless why they cannot offer it.

Is CNA on Hypp delayed too?

Well, I'm too far from Singapore to get OTA signals, but I'd assume so...

Does MediaCorp offer an app that streams CNA to iPad or iPhone users, paid or FOC? I can use that to check. I used an IPTV app to confirm that Hypp is delaying France 24 and Euronews. (Strangely tho, DW is actually uncensored and arrives on Hypp 30 seconds faster than the app).

The gomen will bully the rakyat by blocking FS because of copyright infringement without caring if it's being used for legal reasons or not

There is a clock at the bottom tight of the screen....not sure if the international feed has a clock.
