If you are willing to spend more, you can record Astro in HD using AverMedia HD recorder. But you need to buy HDMI to component converter as well since the HD recorder only has component input, no HDMI input. You also need a HDD to store the recording. This were discussed here quite some time ago.

Is it the AverMedia HD EzRecorder ? And what's the price is like ? I also noticed someone is selling another model, AverMedia Game Capture HD, model number is C281. This model is a lot cheaper. even cheaper than AC Ryan Recorder. Thanks in advance

Edited: I also found out there is another model called DarkCrystal HD Capture Station. Were you talking about this model ? It seems that only this model has a HDMI port (output one though).

It seems they have 2 models for recording but I dont see it any better than ACRYAN, or did I miss something?

I think it's because recording using AverMedia can be done via component cable instead of RCA. So the quality should be better.

They need to upgrade the subtitles to somewhere like the one at KIX HD now.
