I am not really comparing 1.6 and the 2.0... I compared Preve Premium with Forte 1.6SX and Preve is better performance wise. I just want to know now much better is the 2.0. I guess the best way is to test drive the 2.0 first.

preve premium is 1.6 plus turbo and therefore you will get higher torque even at low rpm and thats the reason you feel more kick. preve premium torque is also higher if you compare with forte 2.0 NA. i own forte 2.0 and i am very pleased with the ride interms of the features and engine performance.

Ya esmond Preve torque is slightly higher than the Forte 2.0 but Forte has "dual CVT" ?? not sure what that means but they say much smoother acceleration? Forte horse power is higher than preve.. so highway speed probably Forte is much better. Still waiting for Edwin's response biggrin.gif....

almost 25k difference+ 4 time more expensive road tax , for sure forte 2.0 is have good acceleration ,preve gearbox setting not so good , when in full auto mode it will change gear when your rpm reach 2.5k like that ,if you change it to paddle shift and try to bring RPM to 4000++ then you will feel the power .

for sound proof forte definitely much better then preve , but real seat space i feel that preve is bigger then forte .
FC for both 1.6 is almost same, for forte 2.0 you need to pay a bit more on petrol

power vs more petrol , you need to choose either one rclxms.gif

Yesterday I made a trip from Damansara Utama to Alor Gajah, Melaka & back. Pumped full tank before journey. On the way there, lowest average FC achieved was 5.9l/100km & after coming back with some town driving, the ave FC reading was 6.6l/100km with trip distance of 306.8km + distance to empty 264km = 570.8km. Fuel tank needle showing half tank. biggrin.gif

Hi Guys,

New joiner here smile.gif with 1.6sx Titanium Silver. Would like to feedback of the great deal & most of all the great service which I have gotten from Motorman (Edwin) from the recommendation here!

Of course his high tolerance with my fickle minded (pls don't do this to him  blush.gif ) & he made everything so convenient & hassle free for me (I trade in my car with Edwin as well).

All in all, Motorman is indeed as highly recommended as he is & I must say, am certainly a satisfied customer here!  smile.gif

Thank you Amy! Extremely happy to have add another satisfying Forte customer.

Anyone who are still searching for the best Forte deal and service? Please don't hesitate and waste more time searching. PM me for the best of the best.

Regards,

Edwin

didnt record mine but last Thursday full tank could last me from KL to Alor Gajah. At night go to Umbai then come back to Alor Gajah again. Then Friday from Alor Gajah to Bandar Melaka.. jalan2 town.. then go back KL. Still couple bars of petrol. Highway max around 140kmh only. Town not so jammed because weekdays.

and btw, I though the streering vibration problem settle oredi but it is very obvious > 130kmh. Sigh..

My previous dyno reading wasn't on-wheel. So the reading is not that accurate. Unfortunately, I dont have the "Before" dyno chart. I am gonna dyno my car one more time hopefully by this week end when my exhaust set up is ready.

Can you record the exhaust note and post it on Youtube? That's the 2k package from SuperCircuit right? Haih, so poison la with your mods, to think we picked up the car roughly the same time.

The odometer is not reliable. Not sure if this is happened to me only. All the while I get 9L/100KM showed in my odometer (I reset after filled up full tank). And then when I use fuelly.com to calculate, I only managed to get 10L/100KM all my trip. Of course fuelly.com is acurrate.

If you see 6L/100KM when driving on highway (I scored same as well), I believe it is 7L/100KM actually. I think the best way to calculate is, (1) fill up full tank in the highway (2)drive until reach your destination but before exit highway (3) fill up again and calculate the different mileage divide by the last number of litres you filled up.

yours 6.6 i think is potentially if u drive at that speed consistently you will get 6.6, but based on the DTE + trip distance, not within 6.6L/100KM...mine around 550 (total for both trip + DTE) average showing 8.3L which i think is a more realistic one..btw what was your rough speed (or average, not looking at the one displayed on your meter) when driving? Mine was around 60-80km/h only cos guiding my relative to 1U yesterday..so drove super slow...

i normally record down in my phone with an app (fuellog, android app) and then it will calculate the average over the weeks/months/years for you...that is easier...if u do a "one time only" the average L/100KM is definitely not accurate to me.
