And I suppose everything is perfectly smooth? I've been using 800MHz all the time with my S2 and even games do not lag on it, the same case should apply to s3 right?
*
Nope, power saving + 800MHz won't lag... 800MHz performance from a quad core is like 1.6GHz performance from a single core..

Also depend on governor la, if you toggle power saving will lag like hell.

so u mean if i have rooted my phone NOT all anti virus is usable? so avast can be used even my phone is not rooted and have rooted?
*
i'm new to to avast but this is what i saw during the installation setup.

there is an option to install avast onto the root. but your phone needs to be rooted, otherwise when you install it won't use that must needed feature.

so when avast is installed in root, it then tells you to use a ubiqoutous name for the folder app for it. This way the thief doesn't manually delete this folder from the root, because he may accidentally delete a core file and brick the phone.

normally if you install a av like kaspersky which doesn't install to root; despite all the security settings, they can just delete everything and factory reset, then the av can't do anything.

but if the av is rooted like avast is, they can delete, but because the av is in root, the protection will still be active.

detection and removal of virus/spyware, kaspersky is ahead of avast by a bit, but avast wins because you can install it into the root, it's free, and has more features.

if your still curious to know about the effectiveness of detect/removal of virus/malware for those competing products, i recommend you use google like i did. but from my quick search based on 2012 results, the best mobile security app was either avast or kaspersky.

To my fellow galaxy s3 users,

I just ot my gs3 from digi last mnth n the phone is sweet (upgraded from gs2). My gs2 was fraught with problems but bertahan lah for a year until it got snatched 2 mnths back.

Anyway,i have this funny problem with the gs3. I was calling my gf n we were talking for quite a while. I remembered that when the conversation hits 90mins, the call will be disconnected. I thought it was random but i resumed the conversation n once it hit 90 mins on the dot, the call will disconnect. N it happened for the third time in a row after that.

My question is, is it digi pr my phone? I checked battery saving options n my juice defender, none stated disconnecting calls on low battery.

Please help. Its a small issue but its annoying.
*
I hav tis prob wit my old Nokia, got DC after 60mins.

As long as you have set it at external sdcard it is safe to delete from internal sd
Look at the backup location I. The is shown at main content window when you launch app
