so if it is a case of S2 display vs S3, the S3 wins flat out based on the numbers.
But as for could the S3 display had been better had they used RGB ? Definitely, but the question is how much an impact would that be on the battery life and longevity of the screen.

Some fans say the sacrifice is well worth the benefit, whereas those against say otherwise. So until somebody does a review comparing the 2 on that point, we won't know for sure  sweat.gif

with such a high ppi count in s3 screen the pentile matrix is negligible

should be no problem. once connected it will auto prompt you for fw update

did you update the KIES program 1st?

latest fw is I9300XXBLH1



i always postpone my fw update if im not connected to wifi, and i never fail to receive them back. even from KIES

with this new fw update i think i'm 100% back to stock now, even kernel is stock


since many ppl say stock kernel is the best now, gonna try it out

after 1 day with the new fw. i notice battery life during stand by is improved, wake locks have been reduced as well


not sure whether its the stock kernel because before i update to LH1 i'm using ninpo kernel
