and wondering, why not ask them all hailed audiophiles attend something like a research conference or research seminars instead?
maybe some of the worlds greatest audiophiles should attend the upcoming LAC2007 - the 5th International Linux Audio Conference which will be held in Technical University Berlin and tell the world of their subjective rave comments.

i'm sure they will be hundreds of Professors, Associate Professors, PhD holders and experienced Engineers attending his time-slot. and that it will be bombarded with all sorts of questions by briliant minds that WILL see even the slightest of weak-point and attack on that, until you're speechless. rclxub.gif

Well imho, I think someone would be hard pressed to refute fact-based graphs as opposed to this-is-just-what-I-feel. However, more oft than not, ppl tend to believe in the latter- usually because of heresay (which I'm ashamed to be victim to once tongue.gif). The brain is a powerful tool. What you believe in will be taken as the truth smile.gif

But heck, not like those "noise" affect my listening anyway-I'm seriously (without sarcasm) not an audiophile smile.gif

If everybody talking about the facts, I guess Suzuki GSX-1000 (not the great bike) and the Smart car won't really attracting public.

After all this great discovery of new religions, everything come to basic human feeling... satisfaction & pride.

You can curse to the power cord from french selling like hundreds thousands but you still can't stop people buying it. Why? No body point a gun to their head to buy it. Why?

Unless somebody owned a Wadia CD player and claims that he build better CD player than the over price crown.

hehe it's stronger as in the cracking part of the equation lah tongue.gif To me HD595 is a bit fragile lah, even HP895 got tougher clamps well of course that's why it's deadlier on the head.

I felt the HP1000 was kinda "hollow" though
Its like the plastic case was filled with mostly air, for no particular reason
