can we use gnote app like s note on s3??
*
There's ALREADY snote built in lar. Not the full premium suite from the note though (which CAN be installed from the net if you want anyway), but for doodling and annotations it's okay.

We're running Android lol, as long as the app doesn't require some weird hardware we don't have, we can run it easy.

I'm even using the Gallery app from the Xperia S right now (which is AWESOME BTW).

Mind, our screen is NOT as "sensitive" as the GNote + s-pen combo because we don't have the Wacom active digitizer layer on the screen. Even with a "good" stylus (I'm using the Adonit Jot), drawing lines still lag a very little bit.

Got bored. Saw Androidcentral online shop having sale. Snagged the Incipio Faxion in black for a reasonably good price.

Now have to wait for the ultra slow (but very cheap) USPS First Class shipment. Ah, nothing like a game of Shopping Russian Roulette at 3am.

Give it 2 weeks to arrive lol. After that I can do comparo, this VS my (lightly modded) Neo Hybrid. May the best TPU hybrid case win.

quite easy to spot fake but for non so observant consumers , please be xtra careful . Do note that the speaker is actually at the bottom right of the back cover but there is no speaker there for original SGS3

Here is another version from a different company

Open your battery cover. See those metal dots somewhere besides the battery? Those are contacts for the "official" Samsung wireless charging system - Samsung already has that option built into the S3.

We just need to wait for the system (including a modified back cover + a inductive power receiver) to be released sometime in September.

Rumours has it that you don't even need to put the device on a "pad" or "charging surface" of any sort for the official wireless charger, just put it anywhere near the charge station is enough.

It would be really cutting edge if this was true.

I mean, "wireless" charging isn't new. The Palm Pre already had it all those years ago with the Touchstone. But, you still need to put the Pre ON the Touchstone for it to charge.

But supposedly, the Samsung system is an inductive "resonance" charger (in comparison, the Zens system posted above is just a "normal" inductive wireless charger).

Imagine walking into a room and sitting near the charging station on your desk and poof, your device is automatically charging - with no wires or pesky pads needed.

Sure, all the transmitted power is bound to cook your cells and give you brain cancer or something but hey, it's still cool right?

it is... recall posting something on this (wireless charging accessories) in the earlier threads...

anyway, saw SenQ ad for the S3 in the Star. rm61/month for 36 months... wow... suddenly so affordable! biggrin.gif

update 1: just wanna confirm... now all official SME sets only carry 12mths warranty, right? no more nonsense like SEP sets = 24mths while other non-SEP sets are 12mths... correct?

Just realized there's actually A LOT of stuff at Shopandroid for a reputable online retailer that readily ships to Malaysia.

Prices are not bad too, especially with First Class USPS shipping (aka Pray-that-it-arrives Class - though I haven't had any lost parcels from USPS yet so far, First Class or otherwise).

Ummm. More shops to retail therapy from. Ummmmmmm... drool.gif
