Why do you need to root to fix the issue?
btw it isnt battery drain, its battery stats issue.
just update it using kies will do the job.

No, I do not have faith in modern tech considering that sand (and sand based dust particles) is EVERYWHERE (not just at the beach mind you).

Plus personally I cannot stand glossy screens. I use my phone everywhere including outside in the sun while walking, and I can use all the glare reduction I can find lol.

Plus I have oily fingers, a fact the Nano Clear I'm using right now constantly reminds me of. Can't wait to go back KL and test out my new Phone Devil Matte SPs.

@Silrave: Lemme guess, Unifi router? Anyways, last time S2 asso I usually have this issue. Just change the "channel" on the router to something else besides "auto". I have zero problems with my router since (except when the stupid TM blackbox router/splitter fries itself every now and then and I need to restart the whole frigging thing).

If that fails, ONLY then it's an issue with your ROM or Kernel.
