Hmm. For some reason, I think I want to avoid the Sea of Sorrows server.

Or perhaps just play in the server and wait for Malaysian players to die out in the server, where it will be less populated again.

You should play on the unpopulated servers, that way nobody in this forum has to put up with your nonsensical ramblings.

you do realize that this game is meant to be played with lots of people, there are some dynamic events which takes over a town that requires 4-5 people to work together to take down the boss to complete the event...

once you get past the starting zone the map is very empty even on a FULL server....if you go to an empty server...good luck doing dynamics event alone...

You mean how most of them PVP fags, modern warfare black ops and team fortress abominable reincarnate?

Don't get me wrong. The three things I pointed out are indeed good, but there are fags in it, simply by judging that based on experience of human behavioural analysis. And it's more than just finding out who are the rage quitters and whiners.

Like you for example, loves gaming, but failed to see how similar are many people in gaming actually act like the very degenerates who look down on those who play games. A lot of these degenerates, rely on two particular traits:

1) A wannabe pro, as in not humble enough to even ask for help or say thank you in games, just like how those virtues are needed in real life.
2) By being non-apologetic about mistakes, these degenerates really think that saying apologizing or admitting one's own mistakes is a sign of weakness, rather than an act of virtue.
3) By failing the top 2 clauses above, most of Malaysian gamers may as well have misconstrued the meaning of gaming by treating the game as an alternative and an easier way to seek glory in comparison to real life, except that they fail when you can see the very same traits and psychological behaviour they practise in real life (including the bad Malaysian habits) whenever they are playing a game. And there are plenty of Singaporeans doing the same as well.

I believe in gaming psychology, and I realized that it is similar to social psychology in many ways, where gaming is merely just another environment one emulate his or her habits (be it good or bad) that is brought from real life, either by the way they behave in games, or by the way how they behave extravagantly and extreme, as if they have found a vent for their frustrations which they can't find in real life.

Gaming projects an existentialism which are suppressed by the distractions and the decisions in reality. It is fantastical and fictatious in nature, but it allows a realization of one's true potential in making life choices, so that if it is practiced healthily, it will bring forth a veracity of an individual which is otherwise invisible in the real world, so that dreams can be finally be ephiphanized, revealed, and made.

You play games. I play games and fight with them. Not by kill-death ratios, high scores, and having the best items.

But by having to understand that gaming must be an absolute parallel universe to real life that humility in games will being you to heights.

And these are dictations and the philosophy that will shut up any wannabe gamers with their iPhones, and those who regard gaming as an entertainment for toddlers, those pre-Information Age bast*rds.

And stop saying the usual phrase, "I am still learning". You are not. If you are, the first thing you will do is apologize, and change. Not by deflecting your mistakes with an excuse by claiming that you could have been a pro given that you have enough time to play the game.

Emm. "Elitist shall fall"?

Nothing wrong with some of his points, and it's already a known fact and printed in my 2nd year syllabus.
Problem is... announcing it like that on local community. Could have keep it to himself. sweat.gif Community psychology and sociology is a b*tch eh?

All these aside.

Anyone made up their minds on which crafting disciplines they want to master first come release?

Yes, and switch it anytime for a fee without losing experiences.

"Although a character can only have two disciplines active at a time, they can pay a master craftsman to switch, at cost of 10 bronze coin/Level in the target discipline. Taking on a new discipline is always free, while switching back to a maxed discipline (at Level 400) costs 40 silver coin. "

Lol. How is "local community" an exception to the announcement? Which fact did you have in your second year work?

I'm trying it on all disciplines first. Need to understand the entire concept. Thank the developers for the experience which you'll gain anyway.

Psst.. "Game Design Psychology" in second year course in GMD. I didn't mention any exception, it's everywhere. No offense to you, I do mention that I agree to some of your points. Just not nice to bring these topic up on community forum tongue.gif We can keep discussion and ranting in my PM.

Hmm, need to hear from someone that tried weaponsmith.

Hmm, getting to 200+ is really fast... As long as you get the idea how things work out. Not really willing to pay for those switching cost, hmm, maybe it just me being poor (crafting can cost a lot sometime... especially when lacking materials in desperate time).

But for my playthrough I'll surely go for sawing first- as I play elementalist, need to craft those unique armours myself. Then, probably making accessories (include gemstones thing)... Or making staff? Maybe I take 3 then... Hmm.......... Edit: Oh wait, why not just use alt (alternate character) to save cost (no need pay switch fee). The bank is shared across multiple characters anyway. sweat.gif

Unlike other MMO that stuck with super slow craft levelling (for example: 0.5 year to max one skill), GW2 is... CRAZY FAST... sweat.gif I enjoy that.

Hmm...

Craft armours - for anyone loves better looking
Cooking - for anyone loves buff
Weapon - hmm.... no idea yet. Anyone saw any special weapon recipe (mainly Karma) before?
Jeweller - for anyone serious about upgrading their stats (upgrade raw gems for example)

There is no critical-success to gain better rank? sad.gif

The only time I went and try crafting, i got not enough mat to make anything haha, so I just give up and do DE and stuff lol. I guess when I start playing at launch I should really go and collect as much as mat as I can while exploring, chop some trees, mine some ores and stuff.
