I'll probably burn a lot of cash later just to........... Transmute. sweat.gif No harm support the game...
http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comment...s_on_soulbound/
So we can transmute er... soulbound item (karma gears & used green-rank and above) to non-bound item... then trade it... er... Bug or intentioned? hmm.gif Transmute stone will be a big sale.
Btw, you earn several transmute stones (along other stuff) by completing a map, if you haven't noticed it.

Ah this nice armors & weapons preview page: http://dulfy.net/2012/07/21/gw2-armor-previews/ warning: image HEAVY... the page is about 55MB total sweat.gif
crafted armors not in there though.

However the colours are god awful though. Some of the Char armor looked amazing.

Don't mind the color, you can change it anytime anywhere..... with the amazing DYE system... drool.gif

This looks like Avatar of Grenth. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Avatar_of_Grenth the headpiece, especially.

No, not that one though. Someone showed me the concept art (Shadow something) for this armor set but I forgot where it was... hmm.gif
edit: nvm that's wiki is GW1 doh.gif Probably they make it based on that design hmm... the lower body part quite similar too
found it: http://t.fireden.net/t/fireden.net/wp-cont...General337.jpeg

Quite surprised no one complained the delay between clicking a skill then waiting ~2 second for the skill to activate.
everyone smooth sailing or just expected lag hiccup?
*
Was smooth sailing 97% hmm.gif Occasionally got lag spike, or get kicked from game. Beta weekend stress test anyway.

Did they totally changed the *unique dyes acquisition system*?
In BWE1: hand loot item to NPC in home instance, wait a few hours maybe, go back take dye from NPC
In BWE3: gain bottle loots from monsters, open and gain new dye

Why suddenly become so easy? hmm.gif I prefer the first adventure style though.

How come no one tell me this:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mystic_Forge

T_T.......... I seldom go to Lions Arch...

I only noticed about it after read this:
QUOTE
You use dye to make dye with the forge. As far as I am aware that is the only way. I was only allowed to mix dyes with each other, and only common with common (which btw resulted, unsurprisingly, in a commmon).
I used all the doubles I could in the mystic forge. Sometimes they do go up a rank, for example my first four uncommons I put in gave me a rare. However it was not often that they gave me a rarer dye than I put in.

seems like D2 system that we all like biggrin.gif

Played that so long ago don't even remember. What I remember was the... "pile every junk equipment to the NPC and turn them into gem" in Torchlight.
Dammit didn't knew there was such kind of stuff in Lions Arch... I only went there to craft at the craft station only... hmm.gif Combinations of items... This make crafting even more interesting (or predictable after get the idea how it works...).

Quite a lot of stuff to discover. I yet to know what is the actual usage of "Mystic COIN" though. hmm.gif

1) will we get the 3 days head start if we preordered from tsb.com.my?
2) anybody getting the gw2 steelseries peripherals?
*
Here's TSB reply for GW2 DVD:
"As there is no regional distributor for this product, we cannot provide any date. We will need to wait for NCsoft to ship it to the US supplier before they can ship it to us. We cannot provide any dates until then."

So... unlikely you'll get it early... hmm.gif

And, I don't like white peripherals.

those boosters also drop from...
- mystic chest (looting mystic key still looks quite tough, but you get a few keys from story event rewards)
- chest from completing map

Best just focus in GW2, make sure to know most of the system if not all... Start READING!! Read, research, construct builds, figure out gold farming method, figure out OP combos.... etc. Hmm, I might want to sell my 2 x 6850 and get something better on single card, who in Kuching wanna deal?? Come come~~ XD

Hmm... So Guild actually give players many buffs... hmm.gif
Architecture — Purchase shared storage and increase the number of upgrades the guild can work on at once.
Art of War — Buffs used in WvW
Economy — Buffs to increase members ability to earn karma, find magic items (!!!), or gather materials.
Politics — Emblems, influence buffs, guild armor (? hmm, hopefully something cool), and party items.

does GW2 focus on loot collection?

Hmm, how to put that one... Unless you got so many gold to spent, farming specific loot can be troublesome, logically the higher the rank, the harder to get. In BWE1, drop rate was... awful. In BWE3, it seems I got plenty and sufficient for my crafting. Hopefully it stays that way.

The great function about loot is, the deposit function. But it only allows for raw materials and simple processed items like ingots. Equipments parts, improved enchantment gem however, can't stored with deposit function. I am wondering what are those mini-pets about though.

I read there are about 200 dye colours waiting to be unlocked aside those default colours, sounds like a lot of work to do looting bottles...

Gears in GW2 so for I don't see them as "high levels are overpower". Definitely no. Played till 30+ in BWE1 and see nothing too extraordinary about those gears on the same rank. More to cosmetic likely. To truly empower your gear, you'll need to do some work with those gems. Slotting default gem is a waste, really. Invest in *forgot name* craft skill and you can start upgrade those basic gem, making them even more powerful or have multiple stats on one single gem... Gem acquisition feels rather easy. Note that I did not mentioned "gem stone" as some of them are not actually stones. Several types of gems you gain from chopping trees too... Not sure about farming vegetable though, didn't do that.

And er... I'll say like this lah- MMORPG is a virtual life. We do stuff everyday to support our virtual living, NOT pwn boss and game over. Using Excel is common. Make sure you know how to use Excel... whistling.gif

Add -perf to the command line to start the game and you'll get a bunch of stats over on the right side of the screen, including fps and ping.

(Hmm, how many people are: 1, reading newspaper while on breakfast. 2, reading internet (phone, pad, PC...) while on breakfast tongue.gif )
