Played MMO for years, hardly will even make mistake on that. 3pm before daylight time saving, 4pm after daylight time saving (for 00:00). What the hell US/Europe want to continue this *rather complicated* time system anyway? Hmm...

Not sure, don't think it is fixed date. A little search suggest time adjustment will be done around March (- 1 hour) and November (+ 1 hour) for US.
This system always caused confusion for foreign players... missed event time in game without realizing the time get adjusted on the other half of the earth, etc...

Agree. Don't know if they'll do that again but all BWEs opened earlier than the time stated. At least 1 hour earlier. So keep a good eye on reddit or this thread. Open early better. I know I will take like more than 15 mins creating just my char. Haha.

BWE3 started suppose to start at 3am night I remember, but 2am I tried login and can play already, the time not fixed.

AAarrhhhgg..head-start is August 25 Saturday 3pm???

But.. I got work..7pm finish work go back and eat + bath also 8pm liao.... lucky can burn the candle until night because Sunday no work.

well for me the last beta weekend i can log in around 1.30am liao. could be earlier.

it's a fixed date, usually end oct and march for the switch.
the reason is that they sunset at 4pm during winter, hence they prolong the day time to 5pm. trust me, sky turn dark in the afternoon is really depressing

Anyone has problem ordering GW2 using Paypal from GW2's website? I purchased 1 for my friend using Paypal smoothly, then I want to purchase another for my bro 1 week later I received error "An error occurred finalizing your purchase ". I have enough USD in my account for the purchase. Anyone encounter same problem?

Get the same problem last time when buying GW1, contacted the support and the problem is because my card did not approve the transaction. But it could be different reason for your case.

Verified the Paypal account already through maybank just now, got my 4 digit code. Still cannot purchase, same error T_T

Clear cache, clear cookies, clear everything... or try with a different browser.

Tried clear everything and change browser.. same result

contact Guild Wars 2 support

or call your bank and ask them why the purchase failed to transact, since make the verification thing...at the same time you can also retrieve the 4 digit number from them .

Contacted Support, wrote an essay for them already. Called Maybank and got my 4 digit code already, that is how I verified my account. Still same error.
