The loading is game loading is fast for me.

However the trading post is slightly laggy, but I tried using VPN to play few days ago for 3 days close beta and its extremely smooth even in WvWvW with hundreds of players compared to without VPN. The skill are instantaneously no delay, thanks to VPN. The VPN is located at US.San Jose.

I pre-purchased the game and already reserved names for my characters smile.gif

My guild wars 2 registered account name is gene.3581 , TS please add me smile.gif... hope we all can enjoy playing together sometime soon, hopefully someone create a Guild and recruit all Malaysian/LYN players biggrin.gif.

BTW anyone know why my time is 10pm but this post show i posted at 11pm? BUG?

I think its about 300ms-350ms without VPN and 150-250ms with VPN, based on my previous gaming experience feeling.

Btw I paid RM258 for Digital Deluxe Version... kinda regret it for paying that much out from sudden surge of desire. Should have pre-order the physical version for RM145, but won't get any pet or skill or hero's band and etc.. tongue.gif. But i'm a fan of Guild Wars 1.... I have to console my self by thinking I supported ArenaNet with more money than others yawn.gif .

Actually Rm140 + FREE Poslaju got already ..

Refer to:
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...hl=guild+wars+2

Theres a way to check the ping smile.gif :
Run command prompt and run ping command for [206.127.158.1] and [64.25.39.1] without brackets. These are some of the server IP.

I got the IP by playing the game when close beta and launch command prompt and input these commands netstat -n -p tcp -b | more ...and you get the server IP you are connected to.

Alternatively, you can also find some software that runs on background and trace the server IP you are connected when playing Guild Wars 2... such as this software http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/cports.html .. there are some software that can even trace the server IP and real time ping it for you automatically..but not important la.. since you can ping it your self using command prompt.

Still not sure whether NA or EU version laaaa
*
Don't worry la... EU version also can play NA server the support told me. But now people are worry about EU version cannot play the game if don't have EU Ip's. But also dont worry la.. Ncsoft wont be so negligible one ..

Look at the result I get right now.  doh.gif Look at the routing and avg latency before reaching Texas, USA. This is not even reach the server yet (which should be higher).
IP gotten from ArenaNet diagnostic utility.

Is it even normal to route to Amsterdam first?  shocking.gif

But should be 300-350ms even after reaching server smile.gif .. but still depend .. sometimes route congested get high ping.. I sometimes get 250-350ms from GW1 and sometimes 400-500ms which can't play, but GW2 is faster due to their server optimization + huge capacity + server delegation + temporary overflow server...etc.

Totally agree with their server optimization/routing. It's still way more responsive than some other mmo(s) at same latency.  laugh.gif

But, I still remember I was the black cat to my guild in GW1 lol. Specially when i got assigned to be interrupt mesmer/ranger in GvG.  sweat.gif After all the explanation, I will have to do the 3,2,1 spikes 1 second earlier than others tongue.gif And the rest of my GvG life became an official flag carrier or bunny thumper warrior. Hahaha.

It was a great time back in GW1. And been great fighting alongside with LaZy.

Right now. The latency there is still ok I guess. Weird thing is no longer have green on Asia servers, did they switch it back to US? (Left US, right EU)

Yes can, just register Paypal account and link your VISA to the Paypal account, it will charge $5 for verification code and you only get the verification code at the end of the month with your card bill, so I suggest you phone straight to your card's support and ask them to give you the verification code.

The $5 will refund to you when you successfully verified it. Also its easy to buy online stuff now with VISA+Paypal, I don't understand why so many people still look for middle man to help them do online purchase and pay them extra for it when they can do it then self with little effort.

FYI, you get awesome hero's band + 3 days early start + can use your reserved name if you have GW1. If you buy physical version from anyone in Malaysia then you can't get any of it.

Get the same problem last time when buying GW1, contacted the support and the problem is because my card did not approve the transaction. But it could be different reason for your case.

you should ask Maybank why your purchase keep failing.

Also I think when you making the payment, it have several options for paying...like what card you want to use and pay using paypal balance or paypal with credit card.

Edit: your paypal have balance? I think you should choose to use Credit Card in paypal option when paying.

thinking of getting Guild Wars Platinum Edition for $19.99 which include full access to Guild Wars + Eyes of North and get HOM points to 30 or more biggrin.gif... but I think cannot find party to do many quest sad.gif... the game is almost empty !!.

The HOM points reward items are purely aesthetics only... but still looks cool and tempting biggrin.gif....and probably will see thousands of players wear the same HOM thing and won't be exclusive anymore ..lol. !!

300ms~ is kinda on the border of acceptable d.. and that's coming from a heavily populated server or less populated server?
le sigh, guess i'll wait few days after launch to decide to get it or not since TSB doesn't have the pre-order goodies
*
I play at Darkhaven during BWE3, its the highest populated server during the time the BWE3 just started for less than 30minutes. I can safely say the ping is 100% below 350ms because of smooth response that I didn't even expect smile.gif.

i have, infact 300ms can cause delay depending on how the server is optimized to handle connections from SEA region
*
The server are very very well optimized, its even much smoother than most overseas games. It can handle so well during BWE3, it could be even better when it is released. Also, there's overflow server which handle excessive players in the same zone, so don't worry about the lag.

Also, the support also said they will release server with MUCH bigger capacity when the game is released. During BWE3 they increase player capacity by big margin when compared to BWE2.
