QUOTE(ronnie @ Dec 3 2012, 05:54 PM) That's for Petronas fuel purchase.. + 5X TreatsPoints for other spends. 0 points for other petrol brand purchase/swipe. sorry, I dont really get. Do you mean we will get 5x TP if spend using Petronas card at all merchant? Or is it just limited to Petronas station only? the words "other spends" makes me think all transaction will get 5x TP which is good if it is true. . Thanks.

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Dec 3 2012, 06:14 PM) why dont you call/email CS to inquire about the delivery mode, and try to give a specific instruction (such as address, etc). Well yeah I can't call them cos I'm overseas (such a cheapo ) but I can email them but usually it would take them a couple of days to reply. I'm asking here in the thread because I might get an answer right away since you guys already have the card and you can base it from your experience. I just want to know if I need to be physically there to receive the card because if my presence is not required/they'll just leave it at our receptionist then there will be no problem for me. Thank you bud!

Anyway I guess the RM3 million has probably been snapped up, refer below:
RM3 million to be given away as 15% rebate means only RM200 mil is available.
Based on the assumption that in the 21 participating shopping center, there are 20 outlets in each store that managed to have 10 AMEX customers swiping 2k each in just 2 and a half day, that will total up to AMEX sales of RM210 mil, more than the RM200 mil of sales allocated, and this is just a prudent estimate.
Now think about it, Harvey Normal AMEX sales for a day can easily hit RM30-40k, what about Machines? Tesco? Aeon? Maxis? Digi? People buying new PC?

I also called the CS 1800-889559 and email to amex.customercare@maybank.com.my and the reply is that TESCO is not included in this campaign. Based on the last similar campaign with more or less the same T&C, supermarkers and hypermarkets were not qualifying transactions.

You only need rm20 million sales for the rm3 mil cash back to be fully redeemed not rm200mil, if that is what you are trying to say.

QUOTE(ianthensome @ Dec 3 2012, 05:16 PM) I actually applied a number of times both online and through their branch, because the online application is just so slow. But I believe that it's my online application that made it through because of some details I mentioned in the application. Should I personally be there to receive the credit cards, like do I have to sign/acknowledge something? Because I'm still overseas. If you applied online and you checked on delivery to your address, then they will send it using poslaju. Anyone can sign received on your behalf. There will be a slip in the envelope that need you to sign acknowledgement and pass it to any branch maybe within 1 week (not confirm). If you checked on the collect at selected branch in your application form, then you have to go to the branch to collect it yourself and sign on the acknowledgement slip personally.

I was just called by Maybank informing me that the cards are ready for pick-up but I told them to hold the cards until Saturday cos I'm not in MY. Okay another noob question: In may m2u online account, it states there the cardholder's name is missing the last 2 letters of my surname. Like for example my name is Adam Garcia but it says Adam Garc only. Is that a mistake? Or is this the way they do it? I'm pretty sure my name's not very long and I submitted all my documents with my complete name on it. I have yet to receive my cards on Saturday though.
