I know most petronas stations don't accept amex.. but just for trying sake, I tried using my amex just now. The screen could display maybankcard amex but couldnt proceed further displaying transaction declined. Does it show like that for all petronas that doesnt accept amex? i tried asking the attendants there before but they look even blurer than me

i always pump at Petronas, but after I got the card from Maybank, Im thinking to change to Shell sweat.gif

1.10 "Qualified Retail Transaction" means posted retail transactions which are made at the 21 Participating Shopping Malls. Payment must be made using the Registered American Express Cards issued by the Bank or Maybank Islamic.

1.10.1 Qualified Transaction includes transactions from departmental stores located at the Participating Shopping Malls for example Isetan, Tangs, Metrojaya, Parkson, Robinson, Tesco and Jusco Departmental Stores as well as merchants that sign-up before 15 Nov 2012.
The Qualified Retail Transaction does not include transactions from:

1.10.2 Supermarkets/Hypermarkets which are located in the 21 Participating Shopping Malls including but not limited to Cold Storage, Jusco Supermarket, Carrefour, Giant, Mercato De Market Place, Village Grocer, Isetan Supermarket, Jason Food Hall & Urban Fresh Market Place.

1.11.3 Hotels and their F&B and retails outlets located in the 21 Participating Malls including but not limited to Boulevard Hotel, Cititel Hotel, Gardens Hotel & Residences, One World Hotel, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Sunway Pyramid Hotel, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa and The Royale Bintang Damansara.

1.11.4 The transactions exclude Cash Advance, Auto Pay & EzyPay.

This means
Isetan, Tangs, Metrojaya, Parkson, Robinson, Tesco and Jusco
can get 15%

and
Cold Storage, Jusco Supermarket, Carrefour, Giant, Mercato De Market Place, Village Grocer, Isetan Supermarket, Jason Food Hall & Urban Fresh Market Place
won`t get 15%

correct ??

I also called the CS 1800-889559 and email to amex.customercare@maybank.com.my and the reply is that TESCO is not included in this campaign.

That's where I'm worried.
Offered by "the eligible Merchants", but not the Bank?

From my understanding is 15% on top of every others discount/savings you get through Merchant and bank.

If you want to know the outcome, you can always try to stock up pampers from Tesco and do let us know.

Hello! I got a sms informing me that my application has been approved last Friday. I logged on to m2u and it already shows 2 credit card accounts, AMEX and Mastercard.

Question: How do I claim the card? Will they deliver it to my office? Or should I pick it up? I have not received any call from their customer service about it. Problem is I am overseas and will be back in KL next week so I'm afraid by the time I get back in KL they have already cancelled it. Because from previous experience, they will cancel your card if remained unclaimed for a number of days.

How do you apply?

If online, they will courier to the address that you selected when filling the form. Last time I received the card through poslaju after 1 week I received the approved SMS.

If through branch, then collect the cards at the branch you apply it for.

I actually applied a number of times both online and through their branch, because the online application is just so slow. But I believe that it's my online application that made it through because of some details I mentioned in the application.

Should I personally be there to receive the credit cards, like do I have to sign/acknowledge something? Because I'm still overseas.

why dont you call/email CS to inquire about the delivery mode, and try to give a specific instruction (such as address, etc).
