Anyone had faced same below problem?

I just made Tenaga Nasional Berhad bill payment amount RM2k+ by Maybankard 2 Gold credit card but displayed as below:
Unsuccessful - You have reached the maximum amount payable to this payee corporation.
*
IIANM the limit to pay bill is rm1k only.. if you want pay more, use other card or pay rm1k daily.. and the limit may differ with other bills..

I recall TNB is max 3k per month only. Did you pay other TNB bills earlier using MBB CC ?

Anyone knows whats the catch for the 15% promo?
Is it applicable for everyday or only selected days? Oh, and any minimum spend?

Chloe, I suggest reading the whole T&C from the website; for me the key exclusions to note were :

The Qualified Retail Transaction does not include transactions from:
1.10.2 Supermarkets/Hypermarkets which are located in the 21 Participating Shopping Malls including but not limited to Cold Storage, Jusco Supermarket, Carrefour, Giant, Mercato De Market Place, Village Grocer, Isetan Supermarket, Jason Food Hall & Urban Fresh Market Place.

1.11.3 Hotels and their F&B and retails outlets located in the 21 Participating Malls including but not limited to Boulevard Hotel, Cititel Hotel, Gardens Hotel & Residences, One World Hotel, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Sunway Pyramid Hotel, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa and The Royale Bintang Damansara.
1.11.4 The transactions exclude Cash Advance, Auto Pay & EzyPay.

Just submitted online redemption last week using Visa MB Kad 2.

I was curious as to why MB always deduct the treatpoints from my AMEX card instead from the VISA card that I specified in the online form?
The points are more than enough for the Visa..

I ever tried HSBC long time ago, they will use the points from the card that you specified and if the points are not enough, they will top up the points from ur other cards. This is a better idea done by HSBC.

If you do On-the-Spot Redemption at Parkson/Harvey Norman, you can "dictate" which TP to be used first....

This is not an issue right as the TP can combine to use anytime and even also can transfer to other MBB CC if you cancel the card.

Recently, I went to Parkson to redeem my vouchers, the CS told me that I can't dictate which TP to used 1st. She told me that it auto deduct 1. rclxub.gif

According to one of the bros here, u can use the TP from visa/master as well when do on the spot redemption, at least for parkson. It's tried. However, many staff dunno how to do it, so that bro have to literally show the staff the screen on how to do it.

I tried calling up Maybank CS to use my visa and saving account TP for gst offset. They able to do it.

Plus, once I book rooms online with visa and cancel it. Then the amount is refunded back to visa. I called CS and ask whether they can transfer the credit from visa to Amex since I din use visa much. They did it and without any charge.

So I believe If they can do it for credit, they shud be able to do it for TP. Call them up and try. This will reduce hassle when redemption TP.

That's a good way to consolidate TP to a single account.... but I would just teach those Customer Service at On-The-Spot redemption... at least they learn something new that day.

I was confused with the AMEX Membership Reward Point and Treatpoints.
Does this mean I am able to redeem Amex redemption using Visa points too in case my Amex points is not sufficient? hmm.gif
If their redemption system are able to do that automatically, then i dun have any problem with that coz my Amex points accumulate faster than VISA. tongue.gif

TP can be transfered (as long as not mixed with MR). But normally I don't bother to transfer, just redeem. Already redeem 2x in recent months, in anticipation of TP inflation (my own prediction).

I did transfered from one of the MBB CC I cancelled, into the MBB-2-CC
I do it at KLCC CC counter, take queue number, called up, inform CS, he fill up a form and the details from which CC to which CC to transfer the TP. It's the same generic form to link up accounts, change address/details, etc.

Wait few days, voila!

MR and TP are both different and cannot be combined. Different point system (back-end) and also reward catalogue.

My own definition of the cards:
Amex's Amex = centurion head, no MBB logo = Membership Reward points
MBB Amex = no centurian head, got MBB logo = Treatpoints

Hi guys a newbie here. Just got my Maybankard 2 Gold recently and I saw the recent 15% cash back and each principal card holders are capped at RM300 only. So may I know if the 5% reward cash back still available during the campaign period?

Thanks
