after two weeks of application in maybankard centre at One Utama, i received this card.. my fault, is not giving them bank statement.. i thought since my salary credited into maybank acc, i dont need to bring it..

after a week of my application, i call them everyday asking my application status.. butstill under process.. until yesterday afternoon, they call me and ask for my bank statement.. a bit weird eh, since my salary is credited into maybank account.. then i ask can i just fax or email them my statement, and they answered no.. i need to physically come to their centre, because they cant receive fax and email.. no choice, i go to One Utama to submit it.. then the CS told me reason, their system cannot access my account in maybank.. anyway, the CS in maybankard centre is very helpful.. they will explain thing until you understand, and try to help you as much as possible..

later this afternoon, i receive call from them and told my card is ready for collection.. after finish work, i straight away go to One Utama.. to my surprise, i receive Platinum card when actually i fill in the form and tick Gold card.. but since no annual fee, i just accept it..

actually, what is the benefit of Platinum over Gold of this card?? because i cant find anything comparing it on the Maybank website..

Anyone had faced same below problem?

I just made Tenaga Nasional Berhad bill payment amount RM2k+ by Maybankard 2 Gold credit card but displayed as below:
Unsuccessful - You have reached the maximum amount payable to this payee corporation.
*
IIANM the limit to pay bill is rm1k only.. if you want pay more, use other card or pay rm1k daily.. and the limit may differ with other bills..

Tried to use amex in one of the new Petronas station after Sg.Besi toll but can't. Tried at the petrol portal, transaction declined. Went to the counter portal offline =( Looks like I either have to apply the maybank petronas credit card or either change to Shell.
*
If you always use Petronas, you should get Maybank Petronas Credit Card. Promotion from now until end February 2013, fill up petrol in Petronas is 8x points everyday. Groceries like Carrefour & Tesco also 8x points everyday. Anything else is 5x points everyday. So, in place where Amex is not accepted, I believe this card is the best for now.

This might be out of topic. But I noticed that Maybank is not showing MSOS code page for online transaction anymore? Or is it just me?

They do send me SMS to inform the transactions done..

But last time buying tix from TGV or GSC online, I'll be redirected to MSOS page..
*
i realized this too.. last time MSOS need to key in password which you created.. for me, i always got it wrong and I need to call Maybank to reset the password.. but now i think Maybank change it to TAC style.. whenever I do online transaction from verified by Visa website, it will direct me to a page where i need to key in TAC, which the TAC will be given thru sms to my registered HP with Maybank2u..

I charged a return MH air ticket to my Amex on 03/12 and till now the transaction is not posted.
Called MH and they said my booking is confirmed and card has been charged.
Does this means that I have a free air ticket?

I also got the letter 2 days ago, that's a bad new as previously insurance payment is 5x treat point which equivalent to around 2.5% rebate, moreover insurance payment (especially saving plan) usually is a huge amount of money.
I think Maybank taking this step is to minimize their cost.

Btw, today I called up their customer service to redeem my 10k treat point to offset the RM50 government tax.
The guy said they need to take 2 to 3 weeks to process this, and request me to make the RM50 payment by myself first to avoid late payment.
Is that true?
*
my request to set off GST using treatspoint take 3 days only to appear in maybank2u.. but if still overdue after payment date, better pay first to avoid late payment..
