for local transaction, MYR is no problem when using AMEX+paypal..
for oversea transaction, MYR is not allowed. it will use USD then convert to MYR in AMEX...

what reason the transaction not go through? error message?
some merchant wont allow AMEX+paypal..u need visa/master for it..
*
I thought local MYR is not accepted for PayPal, even it is a MYR quoted transaction.

This is correct. Based on my experience, Paypal always gives an error message when trying to use it for RM transaction, regardless of local or overseas merchant.

You can use amex to pay directly instead of going through paypal. I had the same issue as yours, in the end i paid directly using my amex, make sure you filled in your info and location correctly

Why not ? But not applicable for EzyPay transactions.
Only Grocery/Supermarket/Hotel/Hotel F&B not part of Qualified Transactions.
