i have linked my credit card to my M2U but how do i perform transaction with credit card instead from SA?
*
If the merchant accept other payment method like Credit Card, there should have drop down list in the payment method in your M2U. So far I haven't seen any for Astro, Prudential, Lembaga Air Penang etc.

Try Streamyx, Unifi, TNB etc. They accept bill payment in M2U via CC

Today I had used my card 6 times and received sms for 5. Quite high %. And also received calls from Maybank CS after making all 6 transactions. Quite satisfied with their security service. =)

Used 6 times but only got 5 SMS? tongue.gif

CS called and ask any security question or details? How about the amount you spent today?

Haha.. Previously I seldom received sms for transaction during weekend de.. Weekday transaction then is 100% received. Haha..

CS just ask me did I make those transaction and I answer yes. Then close case.. My spending is in USD and GBP. Total spending after convert to RM should be around RM750.. hehe..

Hmm, I guess it's good that Maybank check on our number of transaction. Will be really helpful in case our card is stolen/missing and we are not aware of it. Thumbs up Maybank. biggrin.gif

Did anyone ever swipe your credit card over the limit?

I just back from shopping and count total usage of my Maybankard 2 cards at M2U.

Lets say my combined limit given is RM2000 (not the real amount). I had EPP of RM1000 and had pay the installment of RM100 for 2 months. So I still had RM1200 to use. Until yesterday I had swipe a total of RM1000. Then today I swipe again with total RM300.

If count total money I swipe + EPP, I had use up credit of RM2100. How can that be? Haha... Maybe the transaction haven't been post so I still can use more than my credit limit.

I still need to pump fuel tomorrow, so I pay RM300 first just now. Don't want to take that risk.

Anyone would like to try and let me know what is the consequences? brows.gif

IIRC, I read sumwhere in the T&C that they will charge additional interest on over limit spending. Better check back with the CS.

Is it? I spend over RM90++ from the limit. Waiting for my statement if there is any charges or not.  sweat.gif

I think I'm wrong. Maybe the additional interest charge is from other banks T&C (Citibank perhaps).

For Maybank, you need to immediately settle the excess amount after you get the next statement. No additional charges.

Hi guys, wonder if anyone encountered this.

I swiped my card at Tesco Extra a day before Raya 2 weeks ago. Until today, I never receive any SMS, outstanding balance whatsoever regarding this transaction. There is no transaction record on that particular purchase at all.

I can understand if 1 or 2 days delay. But I swipe my card directly in their payment processing machine. I wonder if any mistake happens. The total amount spent is RM 250++. I also swipe my card at Watson Pharmacy outside of that Tesco later. That 1 is immediately charged in my card. Is it Tesco still haven't process the thing?

That's good news on getting "FREE shopping" from Tesco Extra. Why worry ?
*
Lol, should be fine if free, but hope they did not charge back at later date. I'll consider it 'Duit Raya' from Maybank then. tongue.gif

Frankly speaking, I know that they will have the record and charge me later. It's not easy for financial institution like bank to make a mistake like that.

Not really expecting anything for free unless I'm really deserve it like winning a contest or promo.

Maybank is quite slow. It took them almost 2 weeks to approve my application (applied online). I thought got issue, but no, on Friday 12th Oct tell me approve already.

But till this day never receive any sms or letter to collect my card doh.gif
*
Mine was approved and the card was sent to my house less than a week. Applied online also. Just wonder if you have M2U? You can check if your card is shown down there below your account information.

Too busy farming dividends.  laugh.gif

On a side note, anyone tried signing up ezy payment or installment with amex (Apparently, customer executive at Harvery Norman said it's possible to sign up for installment plan using amex) on weekend and still receive your 5% cashback on the total amount? (Eg: Buy a tablet for RM 1k with 12 months installment on weekend and still receive RM 50 Cash back comes month end?) Thank you.  blush.gif
*
Yup, I tried with Amex card on weekends for 0% installments at Courts. biggrin.gif
