If you are qualify for the platinum my advice is to try to get the platinum as some offer for Amex applies only for Platinum level of Amex eg. the very recent ended buy 1 free 1 GSC cinema promo not forgetting some good dining offer 2 for 1 also for Platinum level only...So.. yeah.. if you can get platinum try to if not the rest would be the same as gold as in 5% rebates on weekend and 5X TP.

EPP is easy payment plan. Correct me if I'm wrong.
If you swipe 2k worth of item, then there will be 2k on your cc outstanding.

No. Of course initially RM2k will be deducted off your available credit limit. Assume it is a 0% EPP and it is a 10-month instalment, you will have to pay only RM200/month to Maybank. Once you've paid the RM200 for the first month, the hold amount will be left with only RM1,800. It means that your available credit limit will gradually increase as you pay up your monthly instalment amount.

Anyone tried paying their MPSJ bill using Amex via MPSJ online portal on weekend? MPSJ for anniversary celebration giving 5% discount till end August. Since they accept Amex (says so on back of bill), I tot can get 5% discount + 5% cash back + treatspoints :happy: but not sure if they post on Saturdays a not.

The MPSJ's 5% doesn't even show when you search for your bill... not sure how you get the MPSJ 5% rebate also.

You must pay via their online site. I just tried it out, it shows the discounted price (for my case, actual cost about 211 ringgit and the amount to be paid about 200 or something like that. But since haven't gotten my Amex so I haven't done the payment.

mpsj.gov.my is the place. I think if pay from banks won't get the 5%.

Indeed it is. I got the new envelope a few weeks ago. My mom's statement came in on the same day too. But then, inside hers, there was a Treatpoints catalogue inside while there was none in mine
