QUOTE(EroS @ Oct 20 2012, 11:21 PM) ahh.. That means i change the password on the website & just use the new password in the modem when setting up a new connection? The website u reset password is for the login to that website to access your account. The password for the set up in the router is different and u need to get that pass. I also din have it, I used the telnet way to find it and confirm correct or either call unifi. Sorry ya. I'm noob when it comes to this thing. So password u are going to have one for the login in router, the occ website, tm wifi, email and the one u create for ur home wifi This post has been edited by wilsonjack228: Oct 21 2012, 12:34 AM |

Anyone from Selayang Permai/Selayang Jaya area on Unifi? Any problems? Thinking of upgrading from my existing Streamyx 1mbps.
If I go with the VIP5 plan, what is the usual download speed I'll be getting? And on the monthly cap of 60GB, I realize it's not in effect now, but any rumours on when it will be in place, if at all? Because 60GB is a farce, I'll finish that in less than a week. Aside from the speed, any difference between the standard streamyx and Unifi, apart from the Hypptv stuff and all. I mean in terms of protocols or websites blocked. This post has been edited by QuickFire: Oct 21 2012, 01:49 PM |

QUOTE(wilsonjack228 @ Oct 21 2012, 11:24 AM) nope if it was , everybody will we furiously posting Nope. I've been using my TP-Link WR1043ND ever since I got my connection installed.I used to be able to enter the site quite quickly. Now, it doesn't even want to load. Even if it does, it doesn't even load completely. So, trying to diagnose this. This post has been edited by etsuko: Oct 21 2012, 04:47 PM |

QUOTE(wilsonjack228 @ Oct 19 2012, 08:02 PM) using the Alcatel-Lucent , just wan to change to a single unifi , don't want to waste so much electricity If just to save electricity, don't bother as the ROI is several years. For every 10W your device consume, it will cost you about rm22 per year, assuming TNB charge at 25sen per unit. If you spend rm150, it will take you 3 years ROI for a 20W device.so its either tplink 1043nd or 841nd just in my budget round RM150 |

QUOTE(jack2 @ Oct 22 2012, 02:03 AM) erm , when I was hunting for the 841ND in Lowyat , most of them the box doesn't comes with the 'unifi' sticker , so it not pre-flashed with the unifi firmware . So either u buy it , download the unifi firmware from tplink malaysia website and flashed it or u can go to tplink service center on 4ft lowyat there ask them do *u need to have your login and password from the stock router (xxx@unifi / xxx)* Added on October 22, 2012, 8:24 am QUOTE(kimyee73 @ Oct 22 2012, 08:04 AM) If just to save electricity, don't bother as the ROI is several years. I can have it all done using a single unit and thats enough for the time being , doesn't really need to use anything more than that to do a single job which is just waste of electricity This post has been edited by wilsonjack228: Oct 22 2012, 08:24 AM |
