I see thanks. My fried also said it includes phone rental. Any call out to non TM line will be added to the 149/base price.

Well if you want a cheap solution without breaking the bank, do it like me. I am using a Fast Ethernet Router (meaning 100Mb/s) but I connected it to a Gigabit switch (around RM60). All the important PCs are connected to that switch thus PC to PC transfer over LAN is usually as fast as a SATA2 write speed (around 60MB/s).

Also bye bye RT13U. It keeps overheating and hanging up on me that I decided to get new one. Thankfully even if the router hang the internet still works, hence I can delay the new router until the next pay day

Should work, I saw someone did the same thing. Just that make sure you plug it directly into the wall socket without using any plug extensions.

This guy uses it: http://jasonong.blogspot.com/2012/02/enhan...ience-with.html

I have an extra Huawei BTU for sale. Anyone interested do let me know. I bought one from TM for testing. Now up for sale. This is BTU for FTTH only.

Only have 1 STB spare unit only used once for testing purposes.

PM me if anyone keen.
