LUIZ did offer the speed we does not have in our other CB, but i would have pick CAHILL over him, he still feel like a time bomb in the squad. The budge/body check on TEVEZ inside the box could have been a penalty and a red, luckily TEVEZ did not make the most out of it. He did conceded a similar penalty before yet he still havent learned.

For whom still living in the past and craving for striker with Drogba's calibre please get over it already. This is a new Chelsea, Hazard only 21 please don't expect him to be a Ronaldo or Messi in one night. 3-2 lost is a fair result, given the fact City have the same set of player as last season and we still in the process of knowing each other.

I foresee we will challenge for the title this season, there still lot of hunger in Lampard, Torres & Cole' eyes.

Wow, I am actually quite surprised to some of the comments here.
Personally I am very satisfied with the result.
Getting a full fit team after 90 minutes and without an injury is the main aim for a pre-season match.Perhaps Ivanovic red card is the worst scenario.
I am all good with Hazard, I don't think we should really judge him by just one game. People are just making his fail backheel sounds like some kind of super-serious-terrible-heskey-esque trick.
It's obvious that the players and RDM know this is a pre-season match.
Instead of going for a defensive shape in HT, RDM stick with 3 attackers infront and 2 midfielders. As a result we conceded 3 goals in just 20(?) minutes. Take it as a lesson learnt.
It's actually better for the team to experience a 10 vs 11 game before the season start, at least they know how are they going to cope with that in a real competitive match.
Worst player will be Terry imo. Best would be Torres.Ramires then Cole.

Ivanovic will miss 3 Non First Team games commencing 14 days from the date of the offence – 26th August. The Community Shield is classified as a Non First Team match.

Sam Hutchinson is a ready replacement, what happen to our pursuit of Cesar Azpilicueta?

Mikel & Lampard could be the key for this season, hopefully they can regain the Munich form when both played brilliantly. We will score goal because of them, we also concede because of them.

Btw, i noticed that for Yaya Toure & Tevez's goal, Cech was a bit off position. very unlike him.

too much of fm my friend.. sweat.gif

defensive midfield i personally think is good enough, we have essien and also meireles in the backup, just maybe right side midfielder with the ability to play wing or defender.

cech claimed that for toure goal his vision was blocked.

QUOTE
Three second-half City goals were to follow, making it an unhappy afternoon. Cech commended our opponents for their impressive finishing, but admitted to being unsighted for Yaya Toure's equaliser.

'One of our players tried to go in to block the ball, which meant I couldn't see where the ball was and it just took a fraction of time away from me, and he struck it really well,' he explained. 'They scored three good goals.'
