Against uncle Lotti PSG. Should be very interesting match. Too bad I have school tomorrow, couldn't watch it.
Who do you guys think we need to invest our money on? We're closing on Oscar and trying to bid for Moses and Azpi. Maybe Oscar and Azpi are enough, but if we have enough slot for the 25men squad, I won't mind having Moses as well |

espon, you mean jelavic right?
We signed Mata, Cahill, Ramires,Luiz, they are pretty good, right? I am satisfied with them. I agree Cahill is looking very good, got him 7m is a bargain. He provides fantastic depth in our defense department. Now, we signed Hazard, De Bruyne, Marin and Oscar(?). I think Hazard will be the only one who can walk straight into the first XI. De bruyne might need some time, and Marin will slowly make his steps into first XI. Mata might need some rest after olympics and might not be involved in our first few matches. Who do you think we should field to replace Mata? marin? bertrand? KVD? malouda? or sturridge/ramires? food for thoughts This post has been edited by ericling: Jul 22 2012, 04:27 PM |

QUOTE(Frankmiller92 @ Jul 22 2012, 04:54 PM) Please let Malouda and Sturridge leave. I would choose an inexperienced Marin & Debruyne over those two any day We must keep Sturridge. This is a must, he's a true gem in our squad. And malouda, i am bored with him too QUOTE(epsonstylux @ Jul 22 2012, 06:52 PM) yes i concede that luiz cahill and ramires is a good signing. Yeah, would be really interesting if he plays in the double pivot. Hopefully RDM will try that.but i'd like to see more from them. i prefer luiz to be defensive midfielder rather than cntreback. his passing ability and vision doesnt do justice to him when hes playing at the back. you can see sometimes when he goes forward, his pass is one real beauty. Added on July 22, 2012, 8:54 pm QUOTE(ahpoustica @ Jul 22 2012, 06:07 PM) Ask him why he bought berba for 30m la.This post has been edited by ericling: Jul 22 2012, 08:54 PM |

QUOTE(kucingmainan @ Jul 24 2012, 02:06 PM) i think this is the most likely lineup for upcoming season. I agree with this formation. I prefer Hazard to play in wing tho. He looks better in wings. cech iva Luiz JT ACole mikel lampard ramires hazard mata torres. hazard and mata can switch their position during the match. marin might play for the first few matches since mata will only available after some time due to olympics commitment. He wants to play in role 10, because he can be involved more in attacking build up. But I think he suits wing play more. His pace and flair Marin has been impressing in pre-season matches. If he can improve his defensive ability, he could be vital for us this season. Or he can be a fantastic attacking substitute too! With Oscar joining us soon (YEAHH!), I really can't wait for the new season already. |

QUOTE(Kerplunk @ Jul 24 2012, 10:40 AM) Yes, I think so. RDM said that there will be few players to play the whole 90 min. What time is the match in malaysia?QUOTE(yinchet @ Jul 24 2012, 11:36 AM) Nice reminder there |

I personally think Oscar will slowly make his steps into the team.Maybe playing 40-60% of games this season. Mata should be involved in C.shield right?

Wow, I am actually quite surprised to some of the comments here.
Personally I am very satisfied with the result. Getting a full fit team after 90 minutes and without an injury is the main aim for a pre-season match.Perhaps Ivanovic red card is the worst scenario. I am all good with Hazard, I don't think we should really judge him by just one game. People are just making his fail backheel sounds like some kind of super-serious-terrible-heskey-esque trick. It's obvious that the players and RDM know this is a pre-season match. Instead of going for a defensive shape in HT, RDM stick with 3 attackers infront and 2 midfielders. As a result we conceded 3 goals in just 20(?) minutes. Take it as a lesson learnt. It's actually better for the team to experience a 10 vs 11 game before the season start, at least they know how are they going to cope with that in a real competitive match. Worst player will be Terry imo. Best would be Torres.Ramires then Cole. This post has been edited by ericling: Aug 13 2012, 02:47 PM |

Not sure a striker is really needed but a RB is definitely needed.
Hopefully we can seal the azpi deal asap. |

Hazard against a PL team, Liverpool. This is why we bought him, fantastic player. And he's young! I hope we don't rush him, don't give him so much of pressure, he will become a star in EPL. |

I hope that Oscar will make his cameo when we're 2-0 up.
With that scoreline, he will be having less pressure and enjoy rest of the game. Teammates will be helping him to shine too. Remember that Mata debut against Norwich? Wonderful debut! This post has been edited by ericling: Aug 17 2012, 10:00 PM |

Sturridge is fantastic player, I think RDM see him more as a striker than a right winger. I think he suits the forward position too, selfish, confident, skillful, pace. He has everything! He's one of our BRIGHTEST star in the squad. I will keep him at all cost.

3 points well gained. Glad to see Bertrand had his start again in first XI.
Mata need to be rested, at around 70th minute, look at how Mata failed to give pressure to Figueroa. This gave chances to Figueroa to send in a long pass to Gomez who misstimed his header. A better finishing would have just punished us. Nasri goal in comunity shield is an example, Mata lost track and left Ramires the only Chelsea players in the right back position. 2 city players against 1 chelsea player. Kolarov pulled back, a cross, Nasri finished. Goal. Mata definitely need to work on this. Maybe he's just too tired. Not sure Oscar is ready for starting eleven, so I don't mind seeing Bertrand starting again in left wing position! With Ramires coming back, I will go for this: Torres Bertrand Hazard Ramires Lampard Mikel Cole Terry Luiz Iva Cech This post has been edited by ericling: Aug 21 2012, 08:39 AM |

Fantastic kit there! That Champions League winner badge
And number 9, hopefully he can score tonight! I agree with kucingmainan's formation. Ramires in for Mata and Cahill in for Luiz. Cahill is good to deal with Reading's physical. This post has been edited by ericling: Aug 22 2012, 01:08 PM |
