But if you're gonna get some fatbody Microns (D9), I guess you need more than 2.3V. If I recall properly, your TForce 550 should come with a 2.3V jumper... But the problem is, even if you had enable the jumper... the VDIMM will not go beyond 2.2V. Well, atleast this is the problem I'm facing with my TForce 590 SLI Deluxe. I have two pair of fatbody Microns and they can only do up to DDR800 at CL4. I might have booted at DDR880 before but I don't remember them being stable with just 2.2V.

Once I'm done with the it, I might give it a Vmod to get about 2.5-2.7V...

the newer D9s non-fatbody will just fine with lower voltage... but not as tight as the fatbodies

Totally WICKED.... here's the current clock under default Vcore.

BIOS Set Values:

hey guys this is my oc ...umm i duuno if u guys accept my entry as it stops at around 9 hours...the requirement is 8 hours so i hope u guys can consider this entry...thx...
p.s. i suspect this proc can go higher judgojg by the temps i got a t ful load (42~48) some more thats is in the after noon like 1:25...so i will try t go higher when my wc coling kit arrives....hehe see if i can reach 3.ghz mark on a amd 64 chip...

It was around RM900++ include postage from US to malaysia..

Default Vcore can hit 300 * 10.. Not bad...!!!

I think the MSRP should be around RM700-800, but this board is not available for sale yet.

Anyone here OC with the Biostar 6100 AM2 board?
Interested to get one.
Or any 6100 overclocker here?

i'm not pretty sure about the normal 6100-AM2, but the Tforce version overclocks okay.... it's just that the BIOS option is not as extensive as Tforce500-series.

cool 3.0 GHz with 1.6 V..kinda new to this overclock..need some more knowledge

i'm using the same processor as yours but the motherboard is Gigabyte S2 and Kingston 667 1GB..how to overclock to the most optimal speed?yesterday i tried to go for 2.7 GHz but crash..takut suda and then just make it to 2.0 only

I have two of this board. One is running sempron 1.6Ghz. The other is running A64 2Ghz.

I was only able to clock the sempron to 1.9 but I didn't play around with the memory settings too much.

But with the A64 I have a lot of success with this budget board. I got it to 2.6Ghz and I have not tried more but 2.6 needs a small voltage bump from 1.35 to 1.4 or 1.45. The board allows you to increase up to 0.15+ voltage only but for a budget cheap board, it's great to have that option. There's also lots of memory settings in bios.

Also have a brand new gigabyte AM2 S2 6100 and that one has no overclocking in bios whatsoever except a bit of ram timing settings.

Overall, I am very much satisfied with this board. One thing though, it does not have a parallel port so I had to use some old ports from the older computers and plug them into the board header. Works great.

As I am typing this I am running prime95 and running my cpu at 2.45Ghz with no voltage increase and using stock cooling. Core Temp shows a load of 43-45C and an idle temp of abour 35-36C. It appears to like 2.45Ghz for my 3200+ best. I'm using 667 ram.
